I read Mr.Mahesh message dated 26th October 2006 condemning that the Central Government never act on the judgments of the Supreme Court with mixed feelings.I want him to cite one instance where the Government had failed to follow the judgement of the Supreme Court. He must know that India has the best system of Judiciary and independant Supreme Court. Land mark decisisons have been rendered which had been implemented by the Central Government. He had made an absurd and unsustainable accusation against the Government's failure to implement the judgment of the Supreme Court. His remarks are travesty of truth. In fact the Central Government respects the judgments of the Supreme Court. He must understand that the judiciary is the safeguard of our liberty and of our property under the Constitution. The attacks upon the government are merely an expression of the unrest that seems to wonder vaguely whether law and order pay. When ignorant are taught to doubt they do not know what they safely may believe. Finally, if liberty and equality as is thought are chiefly to be found in democracy, they will be best attained whe all persons alike share in the Governmen to the utmost.11-2-06

by pranav gupta on Oct 30, 2006 02:52 PM  Permalink

hi all

I feel this is rediculuous to even think about any kind of mercy for AFZAL . Indian governmet feels proud in showing mercy for such a criminal and boast about it. THIS guy should "not only be hanged but given such a punishment that nobody thinks of doing such thing in future". IT is not AFZAl who needs it is the VICTIMS of poiltics " the common man " in cases like demolition & sealing in delhi, students in various universities : victims of corruption and politics.. we will not let congress to dictate our country hiding behind the cover of democracy.. and GUYS there's a message for us .. DO NOT CALL HIM GURU ...!!

What can you call this government other than impotent and coward? The SC decisions are no more honoured by the Government themsalves. Where the country will go..can't say.

This is the country where Abu Salem is participating in elections, Afzal's death sentence is being reconsidered. I guess Pakistan should stop spending money on training terrorists because Indian politicians are corrupt enough to ruin this country.

Thanks
Mahesh

A government incapable of carrying out a Supreme Court judgement has no right to continue in office.

It is a deshdrohi sarkar and the people of Bharat Varsh must throw them into the Hindi Mahasagar.

The rascals-shiromani are running the sarkar.

And the conductor is from cclee.
