Seven Indians held in sex sting
by Stephen Mathew on Oct 18, 2006 10:37 PM  Permalink

Dateline NBC alongwith other agencies has been spearheading this operation for sometime. I am highly surprised that Rediff has not mentioned anything about Dateline as this program was aired nationally in the US. It is really disgusting that many Software Engineers from India are involved in this. They don't understand that this is not a minor offense but a heinous crime. They should be dealt firmly.

California was and is very strict against child preditors from the begining. And sex sting is not a new concept here, its a routine. If not today, they tomorrow these people would have been caught. They do deserve strict penaties and they are going to get it.

Seven Psychopathic Indians.
by sandys on Oct 18, 2006 10:13 PM  Permalink

"The younger people commit such mistakes and they pay with their future and life for such a small thing. It is really sad," she said.

I want to comment on this statement& specifically word like "small things" used by the relative of an arrested person, its highly objectionable statement what about when her relatives who was trying to seduce & have sex with minors, the intent to commit crime was there though it eventually didn't happen.what happens if the same thing would have happend with the daughter of the accused or his sister?

There is no question regarding knowing your rights here in USA before signing any documents ,but inspite of being an Indian here in USA i don't support her statement .Its an big offence committed by seven psychopathic Indians.

Thanks

Seven Indians in Sex Sting
by Kunuthur Srinivasa Reddy on Oct 18, 2006 10:08 PM  Permalink

These offenders have to be exposed in different news media of the world for their crime. They should be dealt with the law of the US land irrespective of their country's origin and finally deported at their cost. It is equally necessary that the parents of the minors should take maximum care in this regard to prevent their minors to become victims, through proper counselling.

I was wondering whether the sister of accused will consider sex with minor a small thing, if one of her immediate family member is the victim?
