I dont think a sentence has been given yet. Court has only convicted Singh and reserved a sentence for after Diwali when the court reopens. I would suggest rediff to establish the facts before publishing the news.
Afterall,the accused has got the deserved judgement but justice has been done after 10 years.Is it new age 21st century that we all are talking about or women in power?The Govt have to give a thought about it.
However in this case even if the justice has been delayed but yet it gives a relief to see that the convicted has been bought to the books and been sentenced.
However thanx to all those people who fought for justice and stood together with the Mattoo family in the time of need.
Further hope that people will take lesson from this and will not try playing with Law.
But still a fear/ doubt remains that certainly this order will be challenged in Supreme Court and again a fight for justice will continue. However we shouldnot stop till the date it is confirmed that there will be no chance of the conviceted getting scot free.
