I am no expert of this matter but I have one question which anyone can have..
If someone else barge into my house and he brings someone else as a maid.. Now the first "someone leaves" should the other someone leave to or share the property in a peaceful manner?
If the north indians moved to jafana and ask for separate state using force what would be LTTE's reaction.. As far as I have read, Lanka was and is land of Sinhalies.. Tomorrow tamils will ask separate nation in Singapore too then?..

True, Tamils were early settlers in Lanka and have been living there for at least a thousand years. After independence, the Sinhalese felt that Tamils were dominating government jobs and posts and hence brought in rules to keep them out and eventually declared them outsiders with a different culture and religion. The irony is this: Tamils did the same to brahmins in Tamilnadu. They are crying hoarse when someone else is doing it to them.. talk of double standards

you are wrong. Tamils live in northern part of Srilanka for a long time ( say 1000 years); During colonial rule, British forcefully settled tamil people in srilanka. After independence, Srilankan Tamils are treated as a second class citizens - no government jobs, no representation in army/police. The armed struggle started after peaceful protests failed ( I think they tried it for approx. 40 years).
The fact that the tamils flee jafna and come to India as refugees clearly shows the kind of govt. Pirabakaran is running!
The LTTE talks about peace and nogotiation only when their position is weakened. They are trying to rebuild their base during the so called 'peace talks'. This has happened repeatedly in the past.

Hi Sarada_ram Know the truth and then start comment the things. do you know from where the srilankan tamils are comming to india? . It is not from LTTE controlled territory. but from Govt controlled territory. jaffna is controlled by government. in that small area there are more than 40000 soldiers!. Harrasing the civilians. forcing the civilians to do work for the corps. the day will come as like the authour said, india will recognize the freedom struggle in srilanka, sorry it is not srilanka but in tamil eelam. sharada_ram! do you know in world history freedom is never given by somebody. but it has to be fought. i really wonder those people don't know what is the reallity they are blamming tigers. i do agree they did some Blunders!. ofcourse like everyone. but whatever they did it is just defending not attacking. even india, my motherland, which i really proud every single second, did lot of mistakes in srilanka and other world affairs. so please don't blame simply. normally i am not having the habbit of commenting somebody's comments, but while reading your comments i am uncontrollable. please try to understand the reallity
in 1987, india wanted to help settle the tamil vs sinhala conflict in srilanka - because srilankan tamils were flooding tamilnadu as refugees.
we sent our troops to preserve the peace and enforce the settlement. but the ltte wanted the conflict settled on its own terms - predictably to its own advantage. when india didn't agree to this, they turned on us (joining hands with the sinhalese!) and killed hundreds of our soldiers. succumbing to the propaganda of the ltte against our army, the srilankan tamil population also turned on our soldiers. later the ltte assasinated rajiv gandhi - a prime minister of india.
we can forgive the tamil populace and help them find a peaceful solution (that'll indirectly give us our pound of flesh against the sinhalese for their betrayal in 1987-90). but not the ltte - prabhakaran is to be treated like dawood ibrahim.
