Dear Sir, Really Kalam is the best man not only in India but in the world. In India we are having lots of pressure by commiting lots of mistakes. Today I wanna tell that President is the head of the Indian Army though being led by a great man there should not be two sets of rule for one office specially while forces deploy in United Nations Mission -Since pay variation is already exists.
Dr Rajan sir, Thanks for your expressions..Indeed the entire nation is proud of him and it is an honour for the nation and for the president's chair to have him in the Rashtrapati Bhavan. PLZ PLZ forward our feelings up to him that the nation needs him as the president..more than ever ..PLZ PLZ PLZ forward this to him, sir.HE MUST CONTINUE AS OUR PRESIDENT..even just him being there will keep the Crores of positive young minds ignited to serve the nation. He must continue because that is no lesser a RashtraBhakti than being a teacher. He must continue, cauz,he can teach while being there thru Video conf facilities to the entire world..He must continue, because we must let everybody know that India has the best man on earth as its president. He must continue, because the country needs him there.. Plz sir.
He is an ideal icon of youngster of india, still running riding high at 75. He gives us the great pride and we look forward to have more such presidents.
Dr.Rajan is a very fortunate man. it is said amidst ruins if a flower blooms all the destruction is forgotton. I felt the same reading this simple essay. When we see so many bad people aroung with nefracious activities it is so refreshing to read about the passion and love our President Shri Kalam. I happen to visit Rameshwaram Recently. Our Driver who had taken us from Madurai had the privelege of taking His Excellency Shri Kalam many times in his car and he had all praise for him. He too us to House of Kalam the name given to his home at Rameshwaram where we could meet the President Kalam's elder brother and we took photographs with him. The country should be proud that we have a Idea man amn with a great vision, it is others who should take a leaf out of his ideas and build forward. If one closely observe his ideas he mixes growth of Rural india to be matched with Urban India. may god Give years of Strength to this great Soul. Let us earmark this day by doing something good even to just a plant a tree to honour him on his birthday. S.Narayanan

am shocked to read your comments on a simple article. Our Honourable President Kalam is a man of vision. You do not need to have big degrees to be a noble man. To be a saint you do not require great educational qualifications. All that one requires is passion and love towards one's country. How many of us will have the guts to tell someone going on a scooter or a car not to smoke, not to use mobile etc i have hardly seen anyone in india doing that. And if you tell someone no one will support you in your endeavour. We as Citizens of our country take few leaves from the suggestion of oour president will do a lot of good to our country. Do you know a magician in kerala is just showing magics emulating the idea of our President. That is what is required. When one worhips Sai Baba or Ramkrishna Parmahamsa we do not ask what his qualifications to be an holy man. It is the deed and the passion which is more important than paper qualification. Happy Deepawali to you. S.Narayanan= Chennai
in time of king ashoka the king used to eat food only after confirmation that all his subject had food so caring were the kings that time. now the cultivator of food poor farmer him self is hungry in kingdom of all sycophants and the farmers end life. it is shame on us that we live five star life style & celebrate birthdays as shown in hindi movies, while our ANNADATA farmer is looted by all politicians, dealers, traders and bankers. the bank rupt farmer has no money to pay his debts & has some self respect hence he ends his life to avoid bankers. president must do concrete work from his office to let farmer live alive otherwise there is no use of any celebrations of birthday. it is a shame that farmer who pays tax to state as well as central government in the form of electricity, petrol, diesel, water is left with no option but to end life in 60 years of independence. days will be tough if poor farmer is further ignored by president. rajiv gandhi admitted that 15 % of government money only is really spent & 85 % is corruption in his statements to mendia. if this corruption in defence, agriculture, petrolium, telecom & all other sectors keeps on increasing then we must pray god
Our president, Dr Kalam, should be inspiration to the future generation because of his love for the country & SCIENTIFIC contributions, which I feel needs to be percolated in those 543 people deciding our fate. We all pray for his good health and wish him to be alive till we reach our destination of DEVELOPED NATION.
Dr. Rajan's column sounds like en essay of a third grade student. Its written very childishly. Dr. Kalam may be responsible for Indian satellite program but that does not make him "great scientist".
We Indians are proud that He is our President. Long live long live Abdul Kalam long live. Let the self-centred and worthless politicians listen to him for their salvation and our country's.
