Great Man of Vision
by Kapil Aggarwal on Oct 09, 2006 11:35 PM  Permalink

Kanshi Ram was a great leader, visionary and human being. I remember he once beat those idiot journolists. Other politicians feel the same abt them but he has a simple and true person. He could not hide his feelings for them. I think this just shows what a simplistic person he was; becasue in this business of politics one has to wear a shroud and hide his voilent and impulsive strains. I am sure he he would be as cunning as other politicians we have, he would be a prime minister; easily!

He did great work for the country and esp the people who think they are downtrodden. He tried to wake them from their sleep and show them that they are equal partners of this society and country. He succeeded to a good extent in wake these sleeping souls from their self-imposed comma and thus changed the whole political scene at the state and national level.

Only sad part of his life as I see is; his been kept as a kind of captive by his deciple. I am act. a fan of Mayawati also, except for this thing. Its not justified to keep ones mother and family members away from one. And there should be no good reason. Even she moved the cremation early to thaw any attempts for his body by his family.

Tribute to Kanshi Ram
by raja on Oct 09, 2006 09:55 PM  Permalink

Every body he comes to the world do something to adds to the world So was Kanshi Ram ... what special or extraordinary task he did ... he brought dalits to the centre of politics

?? were Dalits not in politics before?? were dalits not having there share more than required ?

What does India needs to emerge as the one of the most powerful, rich and infulential nation??
Polarisation of dalits in Politcs? or dalits should learn to develop on their own efforts rather than holding sc/st/obc qota ?? what type of the nation such leader tried to make india ??
What ever he did just for his own career and own image
check the record of UP administration during BSP regime??

salute to the departed soul -- Kanshi Ram

Loss of a great Bahujan Leader.
by Pravin B. on Oct 09, 2006 09:49 PM  Permalink

Respected KanshiRam,
Raised from a lowest strata of Indian Society. He faught for the rights of common people and all Bahujans (85% people), Build a national Party Bahujan Samaj Party. It is a great loss of nation. His dream to convert millions of people to Buddhist Religion remained unfulfilled. But his last rituals were done as Buddhist. It is a proud thing for minority Indian Buddhist Community.

Regards
Pravin
