Nitin,

TN's CM is well-educated man, while Kerala's CM is an uneducated moron. What more we can expect from an aged comrade?

Communists responsible for this chikungunya outbreak
by Riva T Philip on Oct 09, 2006 11:40 AM  Permalink

CPI (M)-led LDF Govt and illiterate CM Achu and ignorant Health Minister Sreemathy are responsible for the chikungunya outbreak in Kerala. These comrades are against Sanitation, cleanliness & hygeine, and their are advocating for the rights of mosquitos and rats. Govt is doing nothing to prevent this disease. More than 200 peoples died and lakhs are in hospital. Govt is not supplying medicines to poor peoples. CM and Health Minister are playing factional politics in the sidelines of Chikungunya. The Govt has not one opinion on this issue.

Only God can save Kerala from Chikungunya and Communism (which is more dangerous than chikungunya).

Kerala's plight
by K.R.K.Varier on Oct 09, 2006 11:40 AM  Permalink

Now tell me what Mr. Ben wants to tell. Is trying to say that the department he once headed is useless. Then what is his contribution (good or bad) is this sorry state of affair.

Kerala is a state of HYPE. Latest being TOURISM. May be we can promote "Chickunguniya" tourism.

While the whole (hole) state debates on private medical college fee structure, let us have a reality check with such ground realities.

Dogs own countries!!!!!!!!!!!

Chickengunia in Gujarat.
by Harish Chandwani on Oct 09, 2006 11:03 AM  Permalink

This is deadly virus affected the people of Gujarat and Saurashtra. This has exposed the health system failure due to unexpected quantum of rains and clearing of waterblockage which became breeding ground in low lying area in Ahmedabad. Lot of measures are required to cope up with the situation.
The pertaining situation in the above stated areas has not fully covered in the media. I have myself observed the patients in the hospitals specially aged people fighting against the infection in Ahmedabad. Lot of people have the chickengunia infection out of ignorance and treatment have lost their life.
In my family also active aged person has the suffering and hospital treatment could save the vital organs without direct treatment against the virus. It has affected the disorientation of neuro system due to viral effect.
It is needed at this juncture for medicinal R&D to come out with the collabrative arrangement for drugs and well defined line of treatment.
