These unfortunate events will continue until: 1)The Congress realises its anti-national folly of appeasing the minorities who have no real alleigance to this nation. This is unlikely; we cannot realistically expect the Congress to shed its more than century-old traditions of anti-Hindu moinorityism vote-harvesting; or 2) Hindus wake up and get more assertive and aggressive, finally throwing up genuine nationalist parties and leaders and marginalising secularism for ever. This has begun happening. So stop blaming Hindus. Jaganniwas Iyer
I think the Bajrang Dal should be banned from all walks of life and more so declared as Terrorists since they are similar to them. THey are the roots of all problems and its always better to cut off the Roots now itself.
Hello agreed with u fully. but the problem is that the majority of the voters of secular parties like BJP do not come out to vote. other factors as rigging and hooliganism prevail with other pseudo-secular parties like samajwadi party and congress. and these parties, SP and Congress thrive on militants' votes. -sunil.
In some newspapers it is reported that the son of a Congress sitting MLA Fareed is the head of SIMI in the district and they are suspected of creating the problem. SIMI being an anti-national orgn is a banned organisation. Then how could the MLA's son run the Orgn.? Why newspapers/Elec Media are shy of reporting this fact? They suspect any Hindu Orgn.and name Bajrang Dal etc but are not prepared to report about SIMI and its links and activities! Is it not proved in the court-1993 Blasts- that ISI managed its activities thru ISI? Is it because media claims itself to be "secular"? By doing so is it not being anti-national? This "vote-bank" politics is bound to harm our Nation! One need not be a BJP/Hindutva supporter to see the facts.
This is a curse on the Nation. Those who encourage it should be severely punished. The religions have been there more than a thousand year before these rioters were born and will last for a thousand year more.It is the family of the victims who are going to suffer. There is no alternative to coexistance various religions and followers of those religions. Let us respect the faith of the other man and not insult each others beleifs. Let us encourage collective social work.Natural calamities, desease and death do not distinguish between the religions.Let us unite and work for social and economic uplift ment of the society.
we talk of this religion, that religion but finally it is all one destination - no god has shown which is that ultimate destination '; all thoughts in illusion
but one thing is sure, we just cannot put one millimetre of a foot forward without the will of that invisible force from the unknown.. but we claim we can conquer the world - the best joke on earth
here we are knowing how fragile and delicate this life is, behave with one upmanship, trying to outscore other, when do we we learn to co-exist knowing well how delicate the balance of life is sustained... Peace reigns in one place as we say in a piece of land of 6x3 and we come to think we have become the invincible and treat each other lowly in the name of religion .. is this the spirit of any religion.. let us reflect .. where is peace, as they say only in the graveyard for sure,, but why make the living cities graveyards -- are we showing the times to come to our own loving children this way,, do we want them to lose their trust in humanity ??? when do we start thinking, how many "mangalores", "surats"? "godhras", we need before the final PEACE comes to rest here ?? even now the choice is still in our own hands
Coastal districts(Undivided South kanara) so far has not seen major communal riots except for few incidents in and around Surathkal... But this is really an eye opener for all Hindus to stay united agaist the so called secularism of Congress..Their minority appeasement policies are providing morale to the muslims to instigate against Hindus and get away from the clutches of the law.. A local politician ( a former finance minister) is surely behind this riots in support to the muslim community. These people will never realize until the same minority community hits them back to their next generations.. When there were arrests in mangalore madrasas the same politician came out and gave a clean chit to the potential terrorists... Dear Hindus..time to get united and fight against the pro minority politics..
When the Karnataka govt. could not implement the law which bans cow sloughter, Bajarang dal tried to implement the same law. and that is the cause of violence. Now, people from both the community should realise and respect the sentiments of each other and peace should prevail. Govt. if can not stop this violence, should call Army immediately.
Well said rajagopalan , I fully agree with you . I have spent more than an year in mangalore and feel that this issue is more pronounced in southern parts of the country . I am happy that people are there with your mindset whi actually understand this appeasement policy of parties like congress . SP . DMK May be it is a time to revisit thoughts of leaders like Sardar Patel which can be of help .
