Chickungunya in Tamilnadu
by krishna on Oct 07, 2006 10:21 AM  Permalink

Wonderful. Tamilnadu government should be congratulated for taking timely steps to combat the epidemic. Look at Andhra where lakhs of people were affected by the disease in the past 9 months. Both Chief Minister and the Health Minister made fun of victims stating that the disease was the creation of the opposition parties. Meanwhile lakhs of people suffered. If it were to be a state in USA, what treatment these two would have got ?

by Madan on Oct 07, 2006 10:01 AM  Permalink

A.P was very severely affected with chickun gunya, but thanks to the C.M & Health minister who said that it was not gunya n jus an ordinary fever, i feel very proud to see the way the delhi/T.N govts have responded to the fevers instead of taking the way of the A.P C.M, Keep the good work on T.N and delhi.
