Please give correct picture atleast. It is clear that script he reading is Kannada. Telgu script is similar to Kannada. But in the picture it's Kannada. Better change the caption
I think Rediff guys need to do some homework in identifying languages. Like a typical North Indian who would say that everything south of Vindhyas is Madrasi, you guys cant identify the difference between Telugu and Kannada. Please open your eyes or consult a language expert before saying that the alphabets written on the wall is in Telugu.
It is not Telugu. Telugu and Kannada used to share common set of alphabets until new centuries ago. Kannada 's script remained unchanged but telugu's script changed over time.
