Reprieve for Afsal?
by S.Ramaswamy on Oct 03, 2006 09:27 PM  Permalink

The very thought that some one is seeking mercy for a slaughtere is abhorring. That such a petition is being seriously considered shows the scant regard to the feelings of the families of those who were mindlessly done to death and to the dastardly attack planned on the holiest places of Indian democracy. Perhaps if a few MPs had died in the attack the political parties will be bayig for the blood of the attacker

If Presidential pardon is given to this most undesrving case it will go down as the most shameless example of monority appeasement

Execution of terrorist
by andy on Oct 03, 2006 09:04 PM  Permalink

This only happens in India. Here we try to pardon anybody and everybody. If a terrorist is not hanged then why do we have this farce of judicial system? Where is justice? Lets not waste public money on keeping such people alive. People who are supporting lifting of death sentence in the name of humanity are probably not bothered about this nation... remember those human right activist who were parying for the noble soul of chatterjy with candels during his hanging.....this behaviour is bizzare and expected only from Indians who lack self respect and would go extra mile to gain cheap popularty. Now they might come up with bizzare suggestions that if our neighbours attack us them we should welcome them with garlands.....and not fight back.
