Ram Jethmalani must be the descendent of Albert Einstein some how. I do not understand where this guy is coming from. He might be the best of the lawyers in India but I doubt if his comments make sense to him. So on one hand he criticizes the release of terrorists for the lives of innocent hostages but on the other he supports terrorists.
I say even if one were to be a part of the group of terrorists that attempted to blow up Indian parliament, he deserves a death sentence and nothing less.
So the logic of this "wise man" is to feed this swine with our tax payers money and so that when the time is ripe the terrorist pests would figure out a way to get him released. Wow one must absolutely take advice from this eccentric, simpleton who goes only by shock value.

I think, Jethmalani's view is logical about this. Life imprisonment is good enough for Afzal as he was not directly involved in the crime and he did not get any laywer to defend him and put his points.

then "one can always say life imprisonment will reform These criminals in prison"
Stop this crap, the point is Did Afzal Guru, support the attack on parliament and if he is connected directly or indirectly.

If he has participated directly or indirectly then he should be hanged.Let us be clear in sending a clear message to our security forces and the terrorists.

We are after the terrorists and they cannot hide anywhere in INDIA. The fact that Afzal is a muslim should not be a factor at all.
Let us not bring politics to a Case where the accused is facing charges of sedition.

The way india dealt with terrorists should in no way affect our judgement.
