U must be banned immediately from using Internet. As if stopping orkut would change the mindsets of the people who created the community. If not orkut, people will start blogging. or get onto the streets and start violence. Dont blame orkut for people who dont have their head in its proper place.

it hepls 2 find long lost friends n to keep in touch with friends with whom we dont talk on phone everyday...... everything has uses and abuses..... orkut has more uses than abuses. so there should not be a ban..... (voting should be taken throughout india of people who do orkutting and then decision should be taken!)
Strange that none of the media has reported any updated facts about this case. I was not even aware that the matter is pending at the HC. If this is true and the matter is still pending, then the Shiv Sena have committed Contempt by indulging in any protest while the matter is sub judice. That their protests were violent, ergo illegal is altogether a separate matter. Shame on the Police for failing to take any action against the culprits even though their identities are clearly visible on multiple TV footage.

see.... therez nothing abusive written in that pro or comm then why are you worrying??
Well banning a site like orkut will have negative impact and there would be 10 more sites surfacing and harming the society. Instead there should be a procedure to host a community. The owner should provide full details. When found fishy the orkut people should contact the concerned contact details and ask for clarifications. There should be a MOU between the host and the hoster. Then only the community be started. Untill and unless this happens there should be no communities hosted. As in the case of mobile phones the documents of ones using phones were again asked to submitt even after using the phone for over 4/5 years ! why not the community owners be asked to verify their identity within 7 days else block the ones who do not submitt the proof. Its so simple. One request to surfers.. Respect our country please its the best place on earth. Why not act as a responsible person.
ORKUT should censor the articles and immediately remove if it is derogatory ... Shivaji Maharaj was the greatest Indian ever born ...If Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj would not have been there .. today whole of India would have been Pakistan. During the Rule of Babar, Shahjehan and Aurangazeb et all, there was so much of plundering, looting, anarchy that U cannot imagine.. Kingdoms were attacked and the Royal ladies were taken by these Delhi rulers in their Harem .. It was the Great Maratha warrior who saved all of us Hindus and still we are Hindus.. otherwise kabki sunnat ho jaati .. Shivaji Maharaj united our people, fought the evil people and established the Hindavi swaraj .. hence he is very dear and Holy to us .. and hence no body has right to speak evil or foul about him .. so please come to senses .. Fida hussain had painted dirty paintings about hindu godesses .. this is done for cheap publicity .. same is I think done by Orkut ...Hence there should be Censoring done by ORKUT et all or then they should be banned .. Do U understand
