Few of them r desparately trying 2 b 2 smart but r in the process making a fool of them selves. Deepak chaurasiya is 1 of them he tries 2 force his point of view on other person and is never convinced what ever the other guy says. He keeps on defending even though he does not have anything concrete for argument. And in the end comes up with a an audience poll result which is asked in such a manner that the votes will definetely reflect atleast 90% support 4 him, if not more. Infact almost all the anchors in aaj tak r a trash. Any ways aaj tak is the most tabloid-ish channel on air. So it deserves anchors like these.
I guess ever since I saw her reading the news on NDTV I am big fan of NIDHI RAJDAN. I think she`z got style and all the guts needed to be an journalist. I have been watching parnoy Roy ever since he started in DD for just about half an hour in the program called the world this week, and now he has became an icon in electronic media.
My Favourite news anchor is Karan Thappar, for his daredevil and stephen succur style of anchoring. He's the one with the guts to make the interviewee stand bare naked of facts.
In Indian News Channels not a single channel is good enough. And News readers/anchors are only goodlooking nothing else. As far as news standard is concerned they are just providing CHATPATE NEWS like Manohar Kahaniyan. They are not up to the mark.There news are sub standard. Only channel is good is DD News and its News Reader Shrivastva(I dont know his first name) and Neelam are good there knowledge level is also very good. And in Private channel Rajat Sharma from India TV is no. 1 and after that Punya Prasun Bajpayee from Aaj Tak and Abhishar from NDTV India only. Abhishar is good because after joining BBC Hindi Service(Radio) he improved himself a lot.If you are a listener of Hindi News from BBC or Akashwani then you'll find them no where. News Channels are only looking for their TRP rating they have nothing to do with peoples concern. They have no idea about quality of news and seriousness also.Just compare Indian News Channels with BBC or CNN you will find the exact position of news channels. Ravi Verma
