Now this druncken driving is common in India if it happens in big towns then it comes in media otherwise 100s of people are dying daily due to this. Whoever have died they cannot be brought back but their family can get justice only when 90% of assets of these drucker's(as well as their familie's) can be given to the victim's family, and at this issue there must not be any compromise.
Respected Sir, This is a very bad case as the victims are always the innocent who have nothing to do with drinks.The bars and other bar joints should be warned against entertaining the bar customers to such a large quantity of liquor even if they ask for more as the bar men will be knowing that these customers will have to return to street with their vehicles, they should either be given room to stay till fit or not let to drive by the bar guards in the car parking.This is one of the way that such cases can be avoided.Even their licence should be cancelled for many years at length.Shobha Nair.
There should be strict provision in law system to punish such persons.The offence should be considered at par with the attempt to murder.After all not only they are risking their life but also bringing shadows of misfortune on other persons and families.They know it is an offence but still indulging in it.It is to be taken equally seriously when these people are found intoxicated at public places .Wheather they have done harm to others or not is out of question because such incidences do not occur intentionally bur accidentally.
The drunken driver who was responsible for the death of 7 persons should not be spared. According to me he should be stoned to death. This will alert others who are in the same race.
My 4th post... 9)Make a law that is favorable for people who want to drink first, like a law stating that there will be no punishment if someone sits in the pillion of the car/bike but does not drive. Lets reach it to public first. Amend laws. Change India. 10)Im telling u, DUI & violating traffic signals have 100 times more change of fatal & lifelong injury than any other disease. U know why. Cos they are immediate. They dont take time, 11)Stop telling fate took the life etc. Its preventable. DD is. 12)Stop crying if someone dies if they are DUI. Its better off they die than be a menace 2 society. 13)Stop treating All the screen idols as gods but who cant understand what DUI means. 14)Make an immediate punishment if DUI leads 2 death. 6 months jail, Psycatric treatment, No driving again.Only pillion. 15)Last but not least...lets work together. Im calling all corporates,youths,celebrity,politicians all of u 2 start to stop DUI first. Then all will change. Dont worry. Be happy.

Drunken driving should be punished with a jail term and suspension of driving license or in the event of death of a third party, the person should take responsibility of the family affected .
I think they shud b punished . like take the huge amount of money from ther families. n make them like they even cant think of ving a Corolla or getting drunked in 5 stars,make really poor though not like street sleepers..try to fill some losses of d victims..but also sumthing shud b done with streetsleepers.... Govt shud do sumthing these problems ..

Yes we shld punish the drunk drivers. But why their families should suffer?
Drunk drivers should be given life imprisonment or for at least 10 years. If the law is not followed strictly, then there is no worth of legislating any kind of rules and laws.
