Hujianto`s visit
by pgpanikkar on Nov 16, 2006 08:12 PM  Permalink

1.We should not under estimate the chinese. They are very shrewed people.Nehru`s bhai bahi method was exploited by them to their benifit.
2.Recent claim of Arunachal pradesh should be taken up seriousely.
3.Chinese are making great progress in economic, scientific feilds.
We as a naition should work hard to overtake the progress made by them.Only a united India with dedication and hard work can do the same.
Be careful about the Bhai bhai methods.
Who is Hu? An experienced person in Tibet and he must be knowledgable about Arunachal pradesh more than most of the Indians. His envoy may not have made a statement on the slip of a tongue

HuJintao in India
by Nima on Nov 15, 2006 04:51 PM  Permalink

China has been violating the Human Right of Freedom of Faith by repressing a hundred million of their population who practice FALUN GONG, a peaceful meditation system. The practitioners have been imprisoned and subjected to inhuman violence and torture for the past seven years. According to
The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG)s report released on April 17, 2006, at least in eight Chinese provinces, doctors are working overtime to perform a flurry of surgeries, excising detainees organs, so as to cash in on the bodies of the currently-held Falun Gong prisoners of conscience. Post operation, the victims are killed and their bodies cremated.
Now that the camps are exposed, the Chinese Communist officials are in panic, a massive cover-up effort is launched, including blanket denials and cosmetic legislation.
When Hu Jintao is given a grand welcome to India because China is a huge economy, a nation that still carries a Communist mandate while actively building up its military, it cannot hurt to find out what the Chinese regime is really doing in its own backyard.

Agenda for Hu Jin Tao in India
by ali shahanshah on Nov 14, 2006 09:31 AM  Permalink

Some issues have already been discussed threadbare and only need oficial signatures.Other issues will be spontaneous and have to be resolved on the spot behind closed doors but in full view of TV cameras.
It is the right time to settle all disputes and increase economic ties with each other, whether this be based on the basis of the Panchsheel or some other mutual benefit and cooperation program,is for both the leaders to decide.
Territory which is a pain in the side of China or India should be pecefully surrendered as keeping hold on to emotional baggage will not help in improving relations.Economic and commerce should be the priority and not defence.Pakistan's be resolved and some tripartite agremment be signed .Tibet is a reality and a pain which China has absorbed,it will not give up Tibet. The Dalai Lama is very happy in India. He should be given a chance to visit his motherland .
It is time the Indian's started thinking like the Chinese and the Chinese like the Indian's there is not much difference in the two Asian cultures and civilization. If the elephant and the tiger can exist together in the jungle why not India and China be on peaceful terms being two Asian countries1

We must not be mislead
by Gautam, Virginia, US A on Nov 08, 2006 10:50 PM  Permalink

Chinese protect their interest very well. They have not done a single thing on ground to suggest anything for India. Business is mutual benefit and it is not only for India but it benefits China. We people should hold our politicians responsible if

1. China doesn't agree to stop arming pakistan, in this friendship year
2. China doesn't support us in NSG or UN (didn't vote in favor of indian candidate despite tall friendship tale).
3. Our politicans sold us on tibet and we didn't even get anything comparable. They hold tibet and we are also firm on Arunachal pradesh.

Chinese once they control territory they make chinese territory lay roads , introduce their population. We do not do that in arunachal pradesh , Kashmir, even though we have historical basis, where as china has only 50 years of association with Tibet.

Regards,
