The is the case where a person is being forced by authority of IIT of other top institute to do this henious act. the director and the other related person should see the matter very carfully. 1. why a phd in 7 or 8 years 2. why only student has to suffer See the failing of your system, despite of antragni on same day, a person commit this act. think like scholars of nation, not not like politician of america, who use to kill one thousands people with silent pill every day on the name of democracy and war on crime.
Hi, Just a request please don't opine like a know all when you don't know anything. He is a very good friend of mine, not at all a book worm, a very witty person with great intelligence. I have known him for 9 years right from our days in Roorkee. I am not justifying anything, but it is a shock to hear something like this at a time when we all are upset. He has got lots of good friends, unfortunately we are all apart in different corner of this planet, and he was soo easy going. Hence, please don't vent out your frustrations when he is no more with us, and I just lost a very good friend and former roomie. Please refrain from posting something which hurts his frinds and family, and lets pray for the peace of his soul. Hope you take this comment in right spirit. We miss you Abhilash
If a person takes a step like this, it does not mean that he was a bookworm, not mature or does not have a social circle (refering to one of the above messages) . It is sometimes the circumstances which make to take that extreme step. And this could happen to an absolutely normal person. I am saying so, because Abhilash was my classmate right from the school till post graduation. He was fun loving, jovial and extremely intelligent. I dont know what kind of mental stress and pressure he was undergoing, which made him end his life like that... I pray to God that may his soul rest in peace and God give his family members stregth to bear this loss.
I strongly oppose leo. It was a really foolish and irresposible act to post such a message without knowing anything about the incident. whoever knows Abhilash´s boss, might know that noone can ever have academic pressure in his supervision. In fact he is the one who always make you feel better and supports you whenever you need it.....though it was a very critical and sad incident, one should not make such comment which hurts to others.
it is very disheartning to learn the suicide by phd schlor. it looks he was a bookworm , with no friend, no social mind,no maturity at all.not expected from an iit student.any way, may his soul rest in peace. karkhane (ex iitian from 1982 batch )
Ok another example.. Being a PhD student in india is the worst job u can take. most proffessors in india despite they r graduated from abroad or in india, treat there PhD students as slaves. In most cases the poor students are metally tortured and under constant high pressure. pressure to publish, publish or perish is the motto for the proffessor. In order to keep himself safe proffessors always on the students. Except in renouned institutes like NCBS, everywere PhD students r thououghly oppressed and they dont raise the voices or they dont have an option. when will this change in our country???
