It's good to see some worthy NRIs commenting on something in which they really do not have any knowledge. One worthy gentleman gave an important info that India was not corrupt till 40s. This shows how these people tend to side with people in power,as they have been doing historically,whether with muslim kings or British. Everyone knows that brahmains never cared abt any others except themselves. Now they are against reservation. Its as if as they care abt the country. Today TN is progressing just bcoz these people keep away.Hope they will remain NRIs forever

dear mr.sathish, you are cruel and insensitive......naive it may sound, but the truth is there are good and bad, rich and poor exist in all communities ....they say only 13% are of forward caste ....forward in what way? economically? job wise? education wise? no no no. pure discrimination of the highest order prevails in tamil nadu .....

state quota is neceassary to provide an opportunity for educationally and economically backward communities. i am an BDS student, i came to know the seets matrix for MDS which is less than 10 each year( very very less) i do not know what i am going to do to join MDS in tamil nadu. most of the private college were made deemed. only method is to increase MDS seats per year. i agree the educational quota given by the state government as i know in the poor educational status of muslims in india.
1. It explicitly creates irrational hierarchy among Indians which is against Article 14. 2. Parents covertly train their children to coerce other children as per the above hierarchies. I deplore any other religion that does this.

TN has been immersed and almost drowned in Caste politics started by the so-called great EVR and continued by these Dravidian policies, especially the DMK. Now, they have included minoritism as well. The current jokers have banned the da vinci movie in TN, whereas it is running even in Vatican!. JJ tried to capture caste-vote by putting Kanchi Acharya in Jail (I am no fan of his, but jailing him on a bogus case is not the way). I guess most of the brahmins have left either TN or India. The remaining are the suffers. Its just a matter of time before all of them leave. These caste jokers will not have any brahmin to fight and they will start their own in-fighting, which is going to be a very interesting scenario indeed. Reservation is probably reqd. but certainly not 69%. The individuals who had already been benefitted should be tagged *forward* so that his/her children doesn't misuse. Now, former president of this country's children/grand children are enjoying reservation. TN is already drowned and its a matter of time before it happens to India.
