Why depend on others
by Aroop on Jun 22, 2006 09:47 AM  Permalink

I am totally at loss to understand the Indian leadership's dependence on others to solve our problems. Why should the Pakis do anything to stop the flow of violence into India. If nothing else it keeps their Jihadis of their back while spilling blood in India. So what does Pakis gain by stopping them or for that matter the USA or the UK or the EU. The problem is ours (India's) and we should have the guts and gumptions to solve it. Do not trust anyone and depend on anyone. We should go ahead use our might (arms, muscle and money) to stop the bloody war, with force. CRUSH IT - PERIOD.

Can Pakistan be trusted?
by md on Jun 02, 2006 04:37 AM  Permalink

So far Pakistan has failed to be a trustworthy neighbour.

Time and again Indian leaders have extended hand of frienship and in return Pakistan sends trained militants to kill innocent Indians.

If the government of Pakistan hands over persons who have committed crimes against India/Indians such as Dawood Ibrahim etc and stops training militants in Pakistan, then India can trust Pakistan.

Can Pakiatan be rusted?
by KUMAR on May 29, 2006 10:14 AM  Permalink

I strongly feel that we can not trust Pakistan . It is not the question of Musharraf only. History tells us that no ruler of Pakistan has been trustworthy. It is therefore important that the GOI does not take any action whch can be prejudicial to the defence of India.
Thanks and Regards,

Trust to your enemies and disappear from this world.

If Indians can trust the snakes and give milk to snakes and belive that the snakes will spare them and instead of poisioning, will give prosperity to them, then Indians can trust anybody in the world. The poor mentality people have to trust everybody and have to suffer.

Pak can never be trusted
by sg on May 28, 2006 09:51 AM  Permalink

I cannot understand why the people in India are so nieve and keep repeating the same mistake. We have been trying for the last 59 years to be good neighbours but each time we get a egg on our face. Then we have film makers who cant diffrenciate between left from right and are only interested in the mullah. I think we the people have to be more involved in the policies that the govt makes. The countrys securiy is not a romantic film which is 3 hrs long and will have a happy ending. People dont want to see reality and the risk they face with a neighbour like Pak.

Siachen
by Karan Singh on May 28, 2006 03:29 AM  Permalink

More than Pakistan , these politicians cannot be trusted.

What can be expected from this politicians who gifted away Aksai Chian, Haji Pir (twice), and now bent upon gifting away Siachen.

These politicians are not bothered about the security of the country, they are just bothered about their votes and other self seeking and self serving interests.

Where was the need to occupy Siachen at such a huge human and material cost when they want to gift it to Pakistan now....

What about the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Haji Pir and Siachen, does anyone care about them.
