I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team. We should have 10 percent reservation for muslims. 30 percent for OBC, SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared as a century.We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.
There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and politicians (that can really help the country.. )
I totally agree with your views.These are nothing but political gimmics.I donot know how many times this government wants to use the same stale trick for gaining power.They just donot care about the sentiments of the public who voted them to power.I hope this becomes a reason for this government\'s downfall.But unfortunately no one else has the guts to oppose this stuid dicission.
It appears the country is heading for a civil war ,with such a polarisation even if someone wants to help the SCS he cannot .The trust between the two is dissapearing.
The State Govt already has reservations upto the Bachelor's Level. A Bachelors Degree is more than enough for one to earn a decent income. The duty of the Government is to make sure everyone gets a decent living & not make a few "reserved" people rich by trampling on others. What is the point in giving reservations to children of rich OBCs.

The second partition of India took place sometime in the 1950s, with the chopping up of the country on the basis of language. Even otherwise, Mandal-II is not a partition, but totally grinding up our country.Our neighbours are going to enjoy the _kheema_.
On one hand the government is sayin the policy of brain drain and on teh other hand they are supporting the reservations. If u encourage the policy of the reservation based on hte cst ,creed and religion the people who has come out in flying colours in merit will see no future for them and their childrens in india and will go to some alien country and settle there.
Its true that we have voted them to the power and it dosent means that we vuch all the actions of them. There should be a debate on such critical issues before making it as a law.
A time will come where they will implement the reservation in the Elite Servics like IPS, IFS , IRS ,Legal system, even in the armed forces and what not.. in every field.

You talk about partition of the nation now, but the real four-way partition has taken place thousands of years back, when we all accepted the Varna system's merit. So, whether the Mughals ruled us or the British, or the Americans in future, is of least consequence, so long as we remain partitioned in mind, body and soul. Accept the lower caste/backward class and the new-born opportunist OBCs(who have never known or experienced true social ostricism) in the elite society. Let the deprived get a chance at higher education, so that they may experience what their fore-fathers were deprived of!
Let there be 100% reservation of all seats of Politicians and any one not belonging to reserved category should be summarily sacked from the political position.This is the only way to clean up the power hungry corridors of rampant corruption.Also, all the Politicians should be made to take medical treatment only from reserved category Doctors.In fact all other Doctors should refuse to attend the Politicians. This is the price of freedom and democracy we are paying where in our own country we have been give the status of second class citizens.Aparthied is being enforced in free India whereas it is being abolished the world over.Racial partition of India must not be tolerated and if calls for abolition of democracy it should be done otherwise a handful of highly corrupt people will sell our country for some vested interests.
I fully agree and equally worry about the short sightedness of the team leaders we have sent to drive us forward to the 21 st century in the Parliament . Just by giving more quota wont help , it shall be misused by others who have already got benifit from it .
