its a very complex issue.but still almost 50% in IITs and 27% in medical is just too much.i am not against reservation but it should not increase the limit.the limit according to me is the proportion of the OBCs in the population.even the reservation should be the same persentage.
Reservation in the institutions of higher educations which is introduced by the politicians of hues and cries with the vision set on the vote-bank is not a boon but a bane for the future of our wonderful country.With out this reservation-set-up, this nation is blooming in all spheres of lives to its full potentials.The growth that we have so far attained in the IT field must be attributred to the quality people who have come out of the top-institutions like IIM,IIT etc.At this stage in which the quality of these institutions has to be improved in all possible manners, the decisions taken by the central government will only deteriorate the perfection and the international standing of them.
Instead, special attention can be given to the so-called beneficiaries of these reservation by exposing them to intensive coaching and preparation methods.
Politicans always exploit this beautiful country to their aggrandisment.
Reservation is now a done deal without debating and giving reason.This showes what vision goverment has for the country and what are it's stakes.Vedic legacy of class has been allowed to continued in various forms in perpetuation.Indian society had been fragmented in the name of religon,caste,language etc.This is continuing more vigourously under enlightend,educated and the successful visionaries.All have started talking about India shining with foreign exchange pouring in and treasary coffers filling inspite of great holes in it and parallel economy running well.Remittances from outside,wealth generation by Indian enterprise,their acquisitions outside,contribution of IT outside and inside ,their image as hardworking capable people has compelled the world to change perception about India.For all this the ruling class has its claim when they have hardly done anything except that they have not created hurdles.All this happened because these very people wanted to better their lives WITHOUT RESERVATION.Reservation is going to breed mediocracy,lethargy,complacancy and parasatic attitude.Politicians time is wasted in wrong direction and purpose.
There is no need of caste base reservation.Everybody proudly announcing their secularism, but actually wot happening here is that dividing the coutry using religion,caste and region. we should act against it and save the coutry from ugly political games for power
Indian govt. is a ridiculuous govt. they dont want to improve our country as if the problems get solved then the politics will be over. then who will care for these politicians.. this is the thinking of our politicians. they are indulging their enough time in having talks with pak that may india trust on them or not. i think the overall thing is not enough rather the politicians have made it bigger. so that they can have an issue always. if they will spoil their time in thinking these things then when out country will progress. if India has an American Prime Minister then this decision with pak has been made before 30-40 years. and the country would have become america. but we people of india are so cheap that we dont want to change out thinking. and u try to have a chat on the internet, u will find what the american people think about india. they think that india is a country which is always full of dirty people with dirty mind and they give a foul smell. they even afraid of having a talk with indian people mostly. the Manmohan govt. hasn't done anything for country yet. and also the case in the states. Capt. has made Punjab's situation worst than ever. ridiculuous politicians.
Caste is an integral part of India. One has to root it out. But how does one go about doing it? Assuming and believing there is no handicap around by closing one's eyes does not make the handicap vanish.
Caste system exists and is an integral to Hinduism- and was used for discriminations and persecutions for more than two thousand years. How can I wish it away?

Reservation was started by government to help the SC/ST and OBC people to become socially and economically equal to all the people who call themselves General. Is that SC/ST & OBC are from some different Planet?. No they are same as everybody, same flesh, same blood. What makes them different? Why there is this caste system, which has no reason or logic. My point is If all the people in so called General caste are willing to close down Reservation, I request to close down the difference of Caste in India. There should be only one factor i.e. Hindu religion. There should be no incidence of, don't let enter SC/ST childeren in villages, obstructing and trying to stop marriages of SC/ST & OBC people. If the difference is irradicated, there is no reservation required. But first the discrimincation parameter should be removed. India should be a Hinu Nation, rather it should be called Bharat, no India.
It's almost 60 years after independence now. I agrre with reservations idea for the people who really needs it or deserves it. While getting independence there were many people who deserved reservations and we gave it. While establishing our constitution, Mr. Ambedkar himself said that this reservations should not continued after 20 years and it shoud get revised and reducced. But instead even after 60 yrs we are increasing it.
What was the result of earlier reservations? we give reservations to decrese the living status? then why do we increase the quota al the time instead of reducing it and stopping? All the politicians ate our tax money and for the vote they do all these dirty things. we are suffereing thoug we are performing due to this nast vote bank play. Give reservations at primary level.. and oce they are established, further things should be aaounted only on merit. we need brain not drain.

The writers of this piece should say if they wish that it happened or not. What ever they say, there was an invisible partition existed in this country by virtue of the great Indian Caste Sysstem that supposedly existed for the last few thousad years. They now talk about 59 years ! How can the misery brought upon on the BCs for century after century by the so called upper classes would vanish in just 59 years ? Indian Media may know the correct time frame. As of mediocrity that is being flaunted is still there even without the reservations. Kindly dont think that just because the grads are booked for jobs from IIT and IIMs is due to merit. It is because they are going at dirt cheap rates to MNCs !! May be Indian Media want to believe that this is a great merit.
