I find there are many places where chritable persons sponsor meals for poor people which is called Ram Roti. The result is that the same people continue to have Ram Roti every day.
Instead if these people are given loans or education so that they may earn their livelihood, I think it would be better.
Those in favour of reservation are indirectly favouring Ram Roti system. I do not see any of the Ram Roti eaters ever earning their own Roti. I request all OBCs and SC/ST brethren to see this angle and say NO to this Ram Roti. Instead please demand better education, extra coaching, some preferential marks ( as given to sportspersons etc.), scholarships but avoid this Ram Roti.
In my view this will keep our deprived brethren ever deprived by those who are posing to help them. Please see the reason.
i am reseach scholar in department of sociology,banaras hindu university.varanasi.i am not against about reservation policy what H.R.D minister arjun singh is saying ? but as a student of sociology and a lerner of sociology it is my arguement that really reservation policy in higher education and research and development will be a symbol of structurelly and fuctionally devide and fregmented india .At present time we are leaving in information and knowledge era where everythings is based on telent of quality and new progressive thinking.it can not be possible by cast based reservation policy.if we want to get a real picture of knowledgeful and globalised society , it is necessary that we should have a telented student and scholar at primery level to research and development level.it is only possible to economic and social support not cast based merit and recruiment policy.it is global observation that traditionally india is a example of hard cast-closed socety and formely there is no movement between low level to high level but demand of time and space is that if we want to make a creative Bharat(india) and leader of 21st century we should have a economic and social supportive Bharat(india) not reservcast Bharat(india)
It is so important for all the people who have a public image to come front and join and support the striking doctors.
This is not for a personal cause that these doctors are going through all this pain and sacrifices. I wish whole of the country awakens and join them. I dont know what the government is doing in all this episode. Shame on this govt and all the senior officials who do not even have a courage to say what they actually feel.
It is because of all these immoral politicians and officials that our country is still struggling to make a mark on international levels. Adding to that and making it worse is this quota reservation. This has to end somehow and right now.
Equality for everyone without the discrimination on caste and religion. If we have no quota on religion and sex why to have a quota on castes. Sahme on all the politicians and officals who are sitting in their offices and doing nothing about those brave students and doctors.
Why others are still sleeping in their homes? We need leaders and thinkers like Navjot Singh Sidhu and Shiv Khera, not netas like Arjun Singh. If not done today it will be a second partition of country after 1947. Come together to defeat such forces. Lets do it once for all.
