Big Question...How many world renowned educationists, thinkers, sociologists etc. etc. has the government consulted before taking this big a step like reservations and if yes why is their comments not there to be viewed by public...can't our govt spend some money and try to produce an explanation of why reservation of this extent is necessary with comments from every individual in india who is the best in his field which is related to this reservation business. I strongly feel our government is in deep shit.

Iam an OBC , I strongly believe all OBCs who believe in themselves are with you.. let this fire spread to all the student unions in all desciplines..The fire to bring competetviness for success., rather than caste and communities for success.. No man should get success just because of his birth.. but should get success because of his skillsss..... I dont understand what the politicians wish to achieve by dividing the nation on caste, religion , gender basis. Are they such filthy lot that their own interests come before the Nation's? I am shocked. Do they relize what this reservations is gonna do? Its going to have unworthy people who have no claim whatsoever, bagging top, premier positions. When these positions were rightly earned by toiling students. The quality of educational institutions, service institutions would all degrade as people with no idea about their worthiness fill 'em up. Man! Now I understand why people prefer America over any Nation. Here ur hard work and merit is always rewarded. I am in US right now. I feel bad that my country is going down the drains. May b, in future, I'll do my share to help my nation.Dont know how though. Till then, I dont feel ashamed saying I help US's economy, cause my own nation prejudices against me
This politician wants to do reservation for backward classes in school and colleges and in jobs sector. But why they dont want to give reservation in field of politics like 48% reserved seat for backward classes in Lok Sabha, Member of Parliament etc. So Doctor should say we are ready to give 48% reservation to backward classes in education field if give same percentage of reservation in politics
