The idea of reservation is synonymous with the idea of Pakistan. Like Pakistan, it is based on idealism and is in the process of being hijacked by the venal side of human nature. The idea of Pakistan - a haven for Islam where muslims have dominance in precedence over values, purpose and merit, has already resulted in a failed state. Our politicians are engaged in the same downward spiral. Do we wish the same fate to befall us while the world is systematically marching ahead and we have shown ourselves capable?
the best way. ask a patient his / her caste and then give them appointments to a doctor of their same caste. if there is no doctor of their caste for their illness, tell them to then go to private treatment!
Every citizen who wants India to be a better nation should join this protest. Every right-thinking OBC person who has confidence in his/her ability to make it without the crutches of reservation should also join this protest.
This is a wonderful opportunity to take back the nation from the dirty paws of politicians and show them that Indian citizens also have fangs. I hope some NGO / citizen's association rallies for mass support.
