Reservation is against natural justice. But this applicable only when the reservation is given to OBCs. Whys doctors are not against the reservation for the rich in self financing institutions and the reservation for NRIs. What is IMA's opinion on the reservation available to the religious mionorities in the minority governed medical colleges. Take reservation in the right perspctive and take a consolidated decision. Otherwise there is no moral rights in these strikes which will only effect the poor.
If the government is actually bothered about the welfare of the people steps should be taken to focus on the primary and the basic education for all and make every one competitive rather than finding some sort of shortcut by going behind this sort of politics.Reservation policy is similar tactics that of the British which they used "Divide and Rule"...

Why is the govt bent on dividing and disintegrating india on the basis of caste and creed.As it is, after such a long time,the current generation is not at all bothered about the class difference.The youngsters are busy building careers and their furure.The best solution would have been to start an education programme essentially for the havenots,made education compulsory from the primary level.The Congress Govt is to blame for the absolute apathy towards the OBC,SC/ST in the last 50 years.+If the gove had acted 50 years back,by now we would have had an educated class from this deprived class.But the Congress had a different agenda.This class of people were their vote banks.If they were to be educated then they would be in a positin to decide for themselves which party to vote.Itwas to the advantage of the Congress Govt to keep these people uneducated,and keep their vote bank safe.Now,suddenly,out of the blue,they are so concerned about the OBC/SC/ST.Maybe they have some oher gimmick up their sleeve.

I would like to have the list of doctors treating all these messiah of reserved people people like VPsingh, Kashiram, Arjun singh and should have enough quota doctors in it. I truly believe that admission should be given on Merit basis. Why we should give so much importance to reservations for any one including Obc,Sc,St they are also human beings like us the colour of their blood is red like us so why this distinction.It requires a lot of hard work to become a doctor and i think people who truly put in their efforts and hardwork should be suitably rewarded. Reservations should all be stopped. If people who are not able to become doctor then just accept the fact and choose another field getting admission on reservation basis is not the answer.Arjun Singh should go to hell.
The government is slowly realising that the subsidies and quotas do more harm than good. The existing quota is also under utilised across the spectrum, to a maximum of about 9 %. The educated youth and public of India should now ask for reduction of total quota from existing to about 10 % in total, with a deadline date to eliminate quota in toto. The education cess charged by the general public must be utilised in creating scolarship to aid economically backward people irrespective of any caste or religion. This is the need of the hour. The blind and deaf government has failed to identify the real problem and is trying to solve the problem with the wrong tool of reservation. In india of 2020's there is no scope of reservation of any kind. Scholarships - yes. Reservation must be eliminated, its time has come to an end.
It is really nice to see that doctors have taken a strong steps to protest against the increase reservation by poer hungry UPA. The way the police brutely beat the peaceful protesters , shows that there is no right to express your opinion in India. The politicians can go to any extent to remain in power be it compromising the country's future. My request to doctors is that plan your protest in such a way that there should be no loss of life waiting for a doctor.
