MR. Chindhambaram aims at 10% growth in GDP. if this kind of quota system is increased, he will never acheive it.He should have been finance minister of some other country to acheive that. here he will not with this kind of policies from his party. my advise to him is tht...not just look the developed countriy's economic growth and dream , pls also have a look at their policies-the reason why they acheive that....
Why not lead by example Mr.Arjun Singh Ji.Everyone knows that you are smarting under Manmohan Singh because you had Prime ministerial ambitions which will go with you to your grave.But people like you divide the country along caste and religon.Try to utilize your mind in improving education and standardising education systems in India.Its a pity that Manmohan Singh Is the weakest primeminister we had and he choose most inefficent and corrupt minister for two of the most vital sectors \'\' health and Education\'\'.I believe Congress and leftist have done incalculable damage to Indian economy and social fabric.What GanDHI JI achieved congres is hell bent on undoing it.We need afermative action but what is being proposed is political gimmicks which will only do immense harm.May God save India from these old vile politicians
It is highly dissappointitng to note that the government is so short sighted and insensitive to the country's growth in the right direction. In order to bag some votes and meet their self - centered political gains, politicians are compromising on education and public's opinion.
Right to education is for all. However, admissions should be based on merit only.

The resevation system is shame for our country.The govt must do something to increase the quality of education in the primary level.It should make OBC people to compete with others.There are many financialy backward people in all communities. Govt is simply playing minority card.Govt should give price for this.

Appeal to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, It is a real sad time for India when I see students of India fighting for equality in education. This is happening with the head of the Government and Head of the State having doctorate level education. What Arjun Singh has done is equivalent to a murder. Only a mean witty ghit could hurl such an indignity to Indian students and education system. Please come out openly and disown Arjun Singh and his aims. For strengthening vote bank don't kill India and her future.
It is time for all the parents to come out on streets and support your children - the students. Reservation has been given enough time and chance in 50+ years (after independence) to show results. It is now time for equality to prevail. Create more elementary and high schools and give education to everyone. Not at college level. Knowledge and expertise should be the only criteria to get education after passing high school.
Arjun Singh would not exist in next 10 years and so would India if if do not get up and take a stand. Democracy means nothing if voters don't evaluate their government and candidates every 6 months.
as an 18 yr old i feel no respect for the government and all the other polititians.everybody is just looking at their vote banks.if the govt. is doing something as disgusting as dividing indians on the basis of caste,culture,creed etc. then it is the responsibilty of the opposition to speak up.but it seems even the BJP is not interested in risking their image with the OBC's.it is really disappointing to see that the government is trying to bring equality in the society by dividing it.just to make a point-IT IS A CRIME ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA TO FAVOUR OR DISCRIMINATE AGAINST ANYBODY ON THE BASIS OF HIS CREED,CASTE OR RELIGION.but this is exactly what the govt. is doing!it is favouring the backward classes and being unfair to the people belonging to the general category!i think it's time the polititians realised that the Indian youth has come of age and will not tolerate their petty politics.
While I agree that most people who study medicines in India Stay in this coutry the IIT guys, IIM guys and other engineering students from elite colleges go to foreign countries for better job. The skills they learn go waste if they don't serve the country. But this was not the case with students from OBC. the % of FC students who migrate to foreign countries is more compared ot OBC students, and more over it is better to try this reservation with increased seats in some colleges (Except medical) and see the progress instead of fighting in the streets and causing hardship to millions of people
Its a high time we should remove quota and people should be given chance according to their caliber.I am not against any caste or tribe,but what I am saying instead of given more quota what politican try to get.....vote vote and more vote.They dont have any good intentions apart from vote.Instead of giving quota proper education centre should be opened to teach poor for entrance exam.Poltican cant run government school properly...This is just a vote politics...
