This author is bogus by comparing economic index under Nehru and NDA. When India got independence, only less than 25% were literate, on other hand Indian literacy rate now is above 65%. I would like to tell this author that between 1991-2004, the NDA wasnot the only group governing in India. There was a five year congress government between 1991-1995, which started the first economic reform under Dr. Manmohan Singh. During that time, the bjp was opposing the reform due to fear of international companies taking over the market of India. That's a fact. The congress always has always been a better administrative party than bjp.
The author has analyzed very well. Data speaks better than empty and loud rhetoric. I wish the author a long and successful stint in highlighting the causes of social problems, which then can be successfully addressed.
Ofcourse there has to be a collective will to throw the corrupt politicians out of power, for good, in the long term interests of the future generations of India.
