Nudity is nudity, don\\\'t glorify it with the words of psudo wisdom !! Nudity may be innocense on the part of the nude, not on the part of those who exploite it to their benefit and profit. Nudity is like a knife, in hands of a surgeon it cures a patient, in the hands of a housewife, it works wonders in the kitchen, but in the hands of a killer it kills the person. I used to be a fan of MF Hussain, and was almost going to buy his paintings... But just like one of the artists in New York, many years ago, who expressed his art by putting image of Christ in a jar of urine, and calling it ART, Mr. Hussain went overboard with his weird expression of art by first displaying Sita then Mother India in nude. He should be repremanded punished for that.
AS i respect Mr. Hussain for his talent and vision, he has to understand a simple factor that there is limit for expression of freedom, Though Nudity is an art and was well worshiped art in our ancient civilization, no where in history any one has drawn Nude picture of his/her mother. For most of Hindus Goddesses are like mothers (different forms of AADI Shakthi) so how can such a wise man not know such a simple factor. With all due respect to him and his family, would he draw naked pictures of any of his family ladies and say its part of his art. There are so simple yet so very important things in life, one should never cross the limit.
mr. f. m. hussain may comment on his faith and not on hindu god and godess,faith which does not torarate comments on its faith, people of that faith have no right to comment on others.
