Good decision. But should be strictly followed.

I am appreciative of this move by the body to ensure that the candidates produce the required certificates for admission. This will ensure that there will be accountability by the institution towards providing quality education to its students.
The various muslim boards in India seem to be going against the idea of Jihad and ensuring they are working towards betterment of their society in India, recently i also read that all the Imams across the country are congregating to discuss the current issues and evils faced in the society.
These kind of meetings will ensure that the ideology is well maintained and there is a unified progress of upliftment and positive feeling in the society.

I only wish we had a body in hinduism which can work towards the betterment of the hindu society, issue diktats on various issues regarding the culture & society, ensure the vedas/scriptures/commandments etc are easy access to all, look at setting to rest the beliefs and superstitions.
Currently the existing societies and boards are pretty much like the crabs in a bowl which keep pulling down the other who is trying to come up.

madrassas...
by quasim on Mar 17, 2006 09:17 PM  Permalink

it is agood initiative volunteered by madrassas and should be followed by all other religious and socio-religious groups upholding the the idea of india as theocartic state. neverthless, this initiative solves only negligible part of problem by scrutinizing the admission. but it must be remembered that due to economic and financial constraints, mainly, poor muslims are sending their children to madrassas. children of well to do families either go to madrassa at very tender age or do not go at all.therefore, what is neede to be looked into by the heads of madrassas is to give their students, inputs enough to ward off any attempt by militant organisations to recruit the freshers coming out of madrassas.
the other important part of the problem is the militancy by other groups such as klf, ulfa, bodo, ltte, vhp, mcc, ipf etc etc who never happen to see madrassas.
notwithstanding the above problems, the effort by madrassas of varanasi should be wlcome by one and all.
