by mohit on Mar 18, 2006 09:58 AM  Permalink

i think Mr. rajnath singh's comment on the cricketers n film stars is biased him being a political leader. these people can definitely r source of inspiration. it sounds from surface that they r getting the things very easy, but in todays world no body recognize u unless u had putted a grt deal of hard work n there success is also result of that hard work n in my opinion nothing can be as motivating as seeing the true fruits of hard work

Dravid is not Ideal !!
by Sharif Adhikari on Mar 18, 2006 09:40 AM  Permalink

I want to ask our Bharatiya Janata Party president Rajnath Singh that what he has done to our country, while blaming to our cricketers. They are the one whom India can be recognised atleast not by corrupted politicians.
If Singh really wants to do something for India than he should have done many things where India can be brought to the peak level.
Ofcourse Rahul can be the Ideal, His consistency, his efficiency and his technic makes feels proud and gives us spirit.
Pls while blaming others one should think of himself what we are?

sourav, dravid can be ideals
by madhu1026 on Mar 18, 2006 09:39 AM  Permalink

Mr. Rajnath singh is right in asking the youth of the country to emulate nationalist leaders who have sacrificed their life for the country. He should also note that bringing laurels is also one type of national service. Sourav and Dravid, with their remarkable achievements, which were attained through dedication, hard work, and consistency, sacrificing so many comforts, are definitely the youth icons of the day. In my opinion, emulating those sport persons who brought laurels to the country does not mean that one should forget the sacrifices of great heroes like Subash Bose, Bhagat singh etc. Inspiration can be sought from any positive source on earth irespective of the field, those special persons belongs to.

Sourva,Dravid not our ideals
by Rama on Mar 18, 2006 09:38 AM  Permalink

These polticians have never been and will never be our ideals. I wish I had the opportunity to shoot each one of them. How dare they take the names of the likes of Khudiram, Shahid Bhagat Singh and all other greats who were selfless to the core and they knew that India is their MOTHER. These politicians know only to sell their Mother. Sourav and Dravid are at least doing something for the country to be proud of but what about these politicains.....

They can be ideals.
by Sopan Sant on Mar 18, 2006 09:28 AM  Permalink

I think that players and film stars like Dravid etc. can be role models of the youth of the nation not because their profession but the amount of hard work that they have put in their efforts to reach the height at which they are today.
On the other hand I also feel that better roe models that filmstars etc. would be our freedom fighters. But still if youth study the biographies of these successful persons they will get the impetus to work hard

Rajnath Singh
by Avi on Mar 18, 2006 09:13 AM  Permalink

Dear Singh, thanks for accepting the fact that Dravid & Sourav entertain. What do you people do apart from Rath Yatras? If people forgot Bhagat Singh and Chandrasekhar, you politicians are responsible for it, don't blaim youth.

Sourav, Dravid can't be ideals
by Prof. J. Maiti on Mar 18, 2006 09:12 AM  Permalink

I fully support Mr. Rajnath Singh. At the same time, I want to ask Mr. Singh why do the youths behave so? Is it not due to the fact that we don't have real heros in the domain of social and political leaders?

ideal character
by Jsrao on Mar 18, 2006 08:10 AM  Permalink

Nobody can be ideal, everybody got his own backlashes. The person who has blameless character which can be followed by anybody and get goodness only, will be the ideal. Infact nobody on earth is a character whom we can follow and get the goodness only. I can suggest to be like Jesus Christ whose character can generate love only without a flaw of evil. So Jesus is the only person who is ideal. Of course from all the other people we can take good leaving evil, from some one we can take more good and from some other it may be less.
