We all know very well the help he has given to the farmers in Vidarbha. We also know how much he means what he says. So please do not take it seriously if he says he is worried about witnesses turning hostile. He likes to play to the gallery. He will get over it and find a new topic to express his concern.
Democratic system is okay and it is the most suitable rule in this world. However, due to the rampant corruption and political ill-will transformed our democratic system as a rotten one and if we want to survive and actually wanted to be a true demcoratic country, we have to clear the muds on all fronts of the public life. The clean up to be started from TOP POLITICIANS,TOP INDUSTRIALISTS AND RICHEST ONE and then only it can be worthful to catch other oridinary people. Indian judicial system is also not an exceptional and the judiciary should also to be accountable to the Parliament (if not to the common people) for their acts and omissions and vice versa. The problem turning witnesses as hostiles are absolutely due to the following: 1) No protection from the culprits and its associates 2) Long delay and procedures and delay of cases in all courts. To avoid this, there should be speedy justice on all cases and second, protection, secrecy and rewards for the people who are coming forward for witnesses. If you cannot provide protection/safety, ordinary peoplec cannot come forward for giving witness statement. If you provide the above, then you can punish them if they, turned down aga
After having read everthing on this case, it is proved that Shayan Munshi was present and he is a first witness in the case. He did not speak up (under fear / he was givin strcit warning by high profile accused in the case).
He could have made this public that he is givin warnings.
Jessica Lall was simply a normal person to these socialites (Ramani and all bigshots). As if her being or noe being does not make any difference to them.
Had somebody like Ramani's daughter or Rohi Bal died, people these socialites would have come forward.....
The P.M., President and U.P.A Chair person are concerned about one Jessica lall murder case because it has come to light due to involvement of people of high profile! Do they know the reality of thousands of cases at lower courts at the level of district and Munsif courts where the lawyers in connivance with the judges through the court registrars and other staff along with police play havoc in disposal of cases favouring vested interests of money and muscle power? If they are really concerned about the general public's welfare in the present rotten system of judiciary, they will ensure that massive checks of long standing cases and earliest disposed cases with large scale raids of the above said personnels will be arranged to sack the culprits, replacing them by fresh unemployed suitables thereby settling unemployment issue too to certain extent! Will they initiate immediate such large scale operations?
Should a person who witnessed a criminal action to keep himself/herself abrest of the crime for years together?. Witness should be recorded as quickly as possible immediately after the incident and they should be left free. In front of our house a car and a motor cycle collied head on. The motor cyclist got injured. Both the vehicles were kept on the road-side. A patrol police was passing through this road on their Motor bike. When they stopped we the residents explained how the accident took place. They left after hearing the news. The Motorcyclist was finally admitted into a hospital far away from the place of accident. After two days a team of police came to identify the place and were measuring the width of the road. When we casually approached them what they are doing, the Senior person told that they were searching for the place of accident and they could not trace the motor car. When we asked them is not proper to check with the house-people residing on one side the road to make some enquiries to find out whether anyone witnessed the accident, he immediately handed over two/to three blank papers to be signed by us and they will do the write up after going to the office.
Something seriously needs to be changed in the indian judiciary, well we've been hearing that for a while now. I don't know when it's all gonna change. It's not the first time we are seeing that the criminals are getting off the hook so easily, it's been with us for a while. Looking at this crap makes you wonder sometimes, is the judiciary system in India really independent? and if it is, does it have any power to enforce law in the largest democracy of the world where it's so easy to break them without getting caught.I hope the govt. of the people responsible for it come up with something really take care of this situation when it's in hand..or else a time will come when people will completely loose faith on this executive body!!!!
It would be better if the PM shows some courage and brings about
1. a law that would protect witnesses. 2. an environment that would make sure that the madness of power does not go to the head of children of those in power.
Can he try and create a situation where there is enough social pressure on the father of Mr. Manu Sharma and that no political party ever considers him as a its member?
