Like Raja Mahabali of our Hindu Puranas, Port Blair Cellular jail also became like an ornament to us, because our very many forefathers who fought for our freedom were jailed in this Cellular jail.
May this go towards the feet of those freedom fighters of us and the forthcoming generation may also remember this event.
Very good and interesting material. But why it is named or known as kalapani ? Is the water available there is of black colour ? Is it still used as jail ? Regards Navin Chand
