Why Bush was frosty in Pakistan
by Ddharmendra on Mar 06, 2006 07:14 PM  Permalink

Late have thy known the reality in Pakistan dear president Mr. Bush. It should have been clear as daylight to the entire world the duplicity of Pakistan in dealing with their own evil perpetrator's of terrorism in the world. Bush has not understood well and that will cost America and the world dearly.

So Bush should understand the problem we are facing!
by Samrat on Mar 06, 2006 05:19 PM  Permalink

After reading this i can safely assume that Bush now understands Indian anger against the Pakistani support to terrorist organisations working against India. Musharraf's assurances are all talk and no substance. He himself is scared againt assasination so how in heavens name is he going to address the issues that the Americans demand of him as an ally against terror. I think Bush should push for complete support for India relating terror issues. It will also be profitable for them in the sense that India is a strategic power-both military and economic against China-their business rivals.

Why Bush was Frosty in Pakistan
by RavindraDixit on Mar 06, 2006 04:55 PM  Permalink

When has Pakistan ever been sincere? After the Simla Agreement Bhutto went against all his assurances and promises to Madam Indira Gandhi, the way he took India for a ride not many countries have been taken. The Pakis have been leading the Americans up the garden path since 9/11, the Americans too agreed to get taken for granted, for it suited their purpose. The question is for how long could they have taken the nonsense being doled out to them by the Pakistanis? I am glad that finally the truth is dawning on the American establishment, the patience and the maturity of the Indian Nation is finally being acknowledged by the world. I do hope that finally the warped political situations in the world will start getting corrected.

Dont be over joyed

Today it is Pakistan tomorrow it could be even India. US has a bad example of using countries like tissue paper. Im sure that with India being a strong democracy, it would not be a cake walk. But we have to guage our steps. Like Brijesh Mishra said on NDTV we have to being able judge our national interest and learn to say NO. Do not let US use Indias shoulder to fire or get into some one else war.

Madrassas in Pakistan and Pervez Musshrraf
by C V R Bharati on Mar 06, 2006 03:40 PM  Permalink

Immediately after the identification of the suicide bombers involved in July 2005 attack in London, there were reports in press that some of the bombers had visited Pakistan and had undergone training in madrassas of Pakistan.
This also led to some remarks by seniour British leaders that Pakistan connection to the terrorist organisations still exists and that Pakistan should undertake to implement what it had committed to do in the aftermath of 9/11 US twin tower attack.
This remarks had angered Musharraf so much that he made some intemperate remarks against British leaders where he said some thing like"British should look at its own policies which breed anger and hatred" rather than lecturing Pakistan what they should do.He had made these statements in an interview to BBC. This line of argement was repeated by Pak ministers too thereafter for some time.
In a way, it is good that President Bush visited Afghanistan first, then India and then finally Pakistan. This trip has sealed the fate of Pervez Musharraf. In my opinion, he will not last long in his present position as head of Pakistan state. (max 4 to six months)
