dont agree with you

Dont agree with your article. Why do indians find it difficult to digest the fact that Bush and Musharaf get on well. They always seem to be on the look out to tarnish pakistan's name, and consider themselves to be high and might and above everyone else. Can I point you to your acts of state terrorism in J&K. I am from Jammu and let me tell you, the indian army is not on a picnic here. They have brutally murdered many, raped and plundered the people of kashmir. But for some reason this does not count as a crime or terrorism. Wonder why?? If you are a secular and democratic country the why dont you hold a plebiscite in J&K under the UN resolution? I know india will never allow that to happen, because the kashmiris will overwhelmingly vote to part from india. And now Mr bush has spoken about the need to solve kashmir under a just and viable solution, something the indians can not stomach.

Ya right! After killing/chasing out all the kashmiri pandits you now want the plebiscite to be conducted. The UN resolutions are no longer valid

If anyone believe Americans have love for Mr. Mushraf is a big miss-understanding. In the current circumstances Americans see their best bet in Mushraf and expressing true feeling about Mushraf will not help them achieve their goal. Both Clinton and Bush have leaned heavily on Mushraf to do more to curb terrorism. I agree that article written by Mr. Raman is an excellent piece but I think its big mistake to believe that US does not know all that. US know all that too well but US policies are for the overall US interests and if that means promoting, ignoring or over looking unjust behavior of some government or organizations let it be so. If it wasn't so US will have never supported Pakistan versa India in cold war era but it was all part of the cold war strategy and keep the US arm factories in business and to counter Soviet Union. Clinton, during his visit to Pakistan, blasted Pakistan for not doing enough on terrorism front and Pakistan kept receiving monitory aid from US. Unfortunately I do not see India playing that game very well and I believe Pakistan plays that game better than India. Our Indian politicians follow more ideology then their national interests. Otherwise why would Indira Gandhi let Arafat to open office in India.

Dude kashmir is an integral part of india.Dont ever think of seperating it.How many hindus are left in jammu? Why dont you see the situation of kashmir from an hindus point of view or rather from an indian point of view.If hindus are problemattic there should be problems all over the world where there are hindus. But why it is the other way round?

there is nothing to digest coz its a known fact that devil can get along only with satan.pak has been infiltrating all muslims/jihadis for the past 20 yrs into kashmir driving away all pandits and now when the population of muslims are cool you talk abt plebicite.I dont blame pak fully coz we let go opportunity 2 to 3 times in our life.1- we lost lal bahudar shastri at a very early stage, 2- we couldnt hold sanjay gandhi and 3- may be we should have worked more on marketing RSS.If any one of the three had happened you wont be talking like this about kashmir.we all know musharraf is a wounded tiger and its high time india treats him the way he deserves.for god's sake you dont talk abt growing.

If you are from Jammu I am from Mizoram. Have you not heard of the ethnic cleansing in the Kashmir valley where 100s of thousands of Pundits have fled after their relatives and friends were raped, maimed and killed? All by Jihadis who cross over from pakistan occupied Kashmir? As for polls, this is the pot calling the kettle black - when was the last poll held in POK or for that matter in Pakistan?

Even though I am a Muslim, i must totally agree with the author of the article. Pak is a terrorist state and it makes me sick to see how Bush constantly covers up for them when they are no different from N Korea, Iran, Iraq or Syria.

Dear Mr Raman,
Your article made very interesting reading.I hope and pray that somehow it should be read by the person himself -that is Mr Bush . Even if he reads it I am sure it wont make any difference to them as somehow the planners in the US seem to be convinced that Bush's buddy is their best bet.Well I have only one thing to tell them those who who ignore the lessons of history do so at their own peril.
yours sincerely,
sktaneja

Everything is. I agree with your argument that this article is not well supported it. I was the first to scold the author (up there). But you seem to be more worried about Pakistan than India. Nice to know. Best of luck.
