There may be plans by many extremist groups to form a caliphate. But the reality is: Not even the arab states are a united front. Even when the muslims will have a majority in India, they are not going to give up their state, and blend with anybody (not even pak). Economy, aspirations, history will prevent any such occurence. For a secular state like India, it panders to religion a lot. Even our flag depicts the colours of religion. There in lies the danger.
