If India is to forgive the LTTE terrorists, then in the same token India should abstain from fighting against any form of terrorism, pardon all terrorists in the country and in Pakistan, not only the LTTE terrorists and turn her cheek to be slapped again and again by the terrorists whenever the terrorists so wish and let her citizens be killed by the terrorists, without ever raising even a finger against the terrorists.
Surely, India is a better educated and erudite country, than to forgive the LTTE terrorists who are the most ruthless terrorists in the world.

Why should we forgive a terrorist organisation, the terrorist outfit who had assasinated our beloved and honored Prime Minister. We overselves are the victims of terrorist, so there is no point in supporting a terrorist organisation. Sri Lanka is the only country which supports India fully rather than our enemy countries like China, Pakistan and even Bangladesh.. So don't make mistake in supporting the Tamils, which is of no use.
Rajiv gandhi was a great PM of india. He had lots of visions about our country. Sendig troops to Sri lanka was not a mistake . It was a smart move for him as an intelligent leader of india. Because India can never support seperatists. India is run by a democratic govt. not by any dictator like prabhakaran. We take decisions in regard to the policies we have.If we support for a seperate Tamil State in Sri Lanka then we will be obliged to keep that policy within our own country as well. Kashmir has to be seperated then like wise punjab , assam etc that all the states in India will demand for seperation in the future.
If we support Tamil Elam they'll soon ask for Tamil nadu as a seperate state for them as they are also speaking tamil. And these terrorist can easily operate from the other side of the sea. That will ultimately be a huge threat for India. Rajive has forseen this threat and wants india safe. He did that for each one of us indians.
And we dont need LTTE's help to fight Pakis. We are a strong country with nuclear and ecnomic power. We never need help from a terrorist organisation to fight another one. We've moral values and thats reason of our succes
Dont even try to call LTTE as friend of India. India earned its freedom by non voilence . Our india is great nation and we are proud of it.We can never be freind with a terroist organisation like LTTE which use poor people as weapons to kill innocents .
If Prabhkaran is a true freedom fighter for LTTE why cant he send his wife or son as suicide bombers? Why does he send poor uneducated people? He is dreaming of life as the president of Elam and hope to enjoy all its luxury with his family. For that he needs poor people to die for him.
I believe so. Because ok the ltte made a mistake once and apologised for it. But look at the Sri lankan government. During the Bangladesh war, it allowed the pakistani planes to fuel and service it's planes in it's territory. This killed so many civilians and probably indian nationals as well including our military. Sri lanka has never apologised for it even until now but continues to support pakistan. tamils of srilanka admire India as their father country while the sinhalese want to destroy it. As Indians we should understand who is true friend and who is not. Srilankan tamils are represented by ltte. So it is time we help our friends by helping ltte to remove pakistan from srilanka.
