India should under no cicumstances side with the LTTE, as they are a terorist organisation and we don't need teroriststo get a message that India supports terorists.India should side with the truth and support the Lankan government. If we cannot support Kashmir freedom movement, then how do we expect to support the LTTE issue. We should whatever is possible to support the Lankan Government in the way of moral Support, financial support, cut of supplies to the LTTE, ask the European Union and USA to cut the aid reaching the LTTE area.Break them finacially and condemn the Cause.
I hope the present govt of India has the sence to see the difference and dont get sucked into the tamil bethren thing. LTTE is responcible for the death of our PM and there ends the connection with trying to stamp them with a seal of ligitimesy. But with the pro LTTE govt in Tamilnadu and the likes of Vaiko and others who cant see beyond the state spectrum. It could be a dangerous excercice if India dabbled in the conflict again. We need to protect our aters and not allow any pro LTTE supporters gaining entry into the state. One question why are the people from the so called LTTE areas leaving when their protectors seem to be in control. Their establishment is fear based.
