What U have been talking about is prevailing in most of the so called developed countries too.Let's take Japan and USA Corruption is very much prevailing here too. Who said it isn't !!. Most of Ur. points talk about some sheer frustration that possibally is there for centuries, Yet this great country has handled many such pressures and continues to grow in many area/s.
Like one of the co-commentor had talked about May/Could I know what has been Ur. contrb. to make this country of our's a better place to be.
It happens only in India, no wonder you've settled down here. People do have plenty to say about India, but, deep inside their hearts they know that there is no better place on earth other than India. India is great.
I am not able to make out from the name as to whether the author is of Indian origin or else. This itself would have effect on one's views. As regards electricity problem and power cuts, one of the reasons is that we operate on 230V on domestic level and person can die at this voltage if wet. They operate at 110V and less is the chance of death at worst conditions and hence no power cuts. As regards other observations, I feel, India is lagging in every way and will improve in near future. But from the extent of hardship an average Indian bears whether in city or village, it is justified, if the speed of improvement is snail's. And then the so called cream of India has always been going abroad for earning money for years and returning as NRIs to get more BHAV. Who are left to work towards improvement I wonder. This is also one of the reasons.
I appreciate the author for excellently analysing and point the true facts. Instead for Indians being offensive to the criticism, the Indian administration really needs to improve on these facts. I was personally frustrated when some photographs were not allowed. However, if taken with a mobile there is no issue. I really do not know what a simple photograph can do when there is Google image which could give could give so much information for negative forces also.
Well said friend ,all the 10 things you said about INDIA are the facts but one thing even though you have that 10 points to say there are lot many things to be considered.This is all coz of over population which is the main cause.Inspite of all this India has remained as a rich heritage for art,culture etc..
Well speaking abt the charges it happens in all the countries due currency issues.India has a lower currency rate.That doesn't mean the racial discrimination.
But one question for you my friend ..Can you compare India now with the India in the last 3-4 years.The change that has occured is amazing which we haven't expected so quickly.May be it takes some more time but definetly you should write an article again abt the 10 best things you love about INDIA.
When she talks about holidays ,indian are more sincere.Having been in US more i know these people take more leave.I think such discrimnatory article damaging indians reputation is bad,ppl leave here exactly at 5pm even the doctors surgeons too,whereas in India people work around the clock and weekends too,HEre they have long weekends which is more than a week.whereas in todays India its still a dream. I agree with the traffic with her views ,but all others are qrong,there is not time to comment on those as i am indian and value time rather than write some remarks.ITs better to contribute rather than crib about.
