As it is mentioned in article, it is true that a white skin man have to pay more for all the amenities in India.
But in the same time we should consider what the pther part of the world is doing.
For example, in the gulf region employement, these white skin people gets more than 3 times salary when compared to their black skin counterparts evethough they have same caliber or somtime better than that of a white skin. So it is obvious that when you enjoy a superiority because of your white skin you have to cough up somewhere because of the same reason.
I Too Have Travelled Several Countries, No Country Is Perfect As We Humans Are greedy, Ignorant, Unaware of our Thoughts , actions & U can See The Results. The Problem In india is regional, religion, greediness & all are conected as the govt is selected or neglected by the group of people, society Peace For All
Dont you think the word HATE in the articles title is a bit too strong? And the first time a reader reads this title there might be a sense of disgust and feeling of hurt amongst him/her. I think the title should read 10 things that are Unpleasant about India, or some other appropriate word instead of hate.
As i m so far from india, yet India is my dreamsland to visit someday.......... Even i wud find another 10 more annoying stuffs there....Yet there are still thousand amazing stuffs abt india. i keep falling in love with owesome India. I heard sad terrible news abt bomb blast in mumbai today. Dont let them ruin our india ya. Keep moving on. God bless u all
You might be unaware of other countries where they charge a lot more fees for foriegn students and levy high tax rates. Some countries always invade other countries for their economy,oil etc which India has never done and you should be proud about India
I am very glad that you opted for India to settle down and that too atleast 30 years back from now. I totally agree with your list. Some of them are from a foreign national viewpoint but broadlly it is true. We are trying to work out on it and hopefully few items will be gone from your top 10 list. I feel what is definitely missing from the list (as an Indian) is that we have settled in what we have and sometimes folks like you show them the mistake, then they get offended and may back fire. I am sorry on their behalf and hope you would keep on writing your experiences.
Your article did sound like promoting tourism in France. Believe me its not we Indians had taken out frustration of taking photographs in France but its you who had taken out frustration of France not been not been know as for Intelligent people apart from Art or Architecture. Now let me discuss a few points that you had raised in your article.
Traffic: you have 100 people staying in a vast area of 10 kms where as we have 10,000 in the same so it will be cramped but we still allow another "White guy" to stay with us in this cramped area itself as we respect humans and are protective.
Photographs: Will you allow me to take photographs of your house if i am an alien to you. Not right? We too do not want people to take photographs of our ancient history as they would not use it for good things but make a replica of it and thus its importance vanishes.
On the whole please try a different way to promote tourism in France my dear friend. Though we have crampped roads, houses, hotels, busses, trains and airlines we still have a big heart to accomodate more like you.
Hope your mindset will change as you are another babu from France.
