reservations in india
by shankar on Jul 12, 2006 02:15 PM  Permalink

one gentleman expressed that reservations in india needs clarity but did not elaborate and also felt that it would be 'outrageous' to abolish it. can anyone say how long the dreaded 'reservations' shall continue, inspite of all the financial support govt. is extending to the socalled blessed people, depriving others in 'education and employment'. some state governments took a step forward in implementing 'reservations in "promotions at all stages", making it a world record. is there this type of discrimination anywhere in the World in the name of caste? i think the reservations will be continued for ever and ever, for the obvious reasons.

10 things I hate about India
by sushil jain on Jul 12, 2006 01:43 PM  Permalink

I have now realized that how easy it is to find problems and how difficult to find great things happening in the country. The proof is for everyone to see in newspapers or TV. Every day we are blasted with negative news and articles.

From this perspective Claude Arpi is no different.
These kind of articles add no value to country or community.

I hope he will realize it and write an article "10 Things I like the most about India".

Regards,
Sushil
