I think you are right, because i myself the citizen of India and every day i face the difficulties and see the problems of people in India which they are tolerating by our system, government and this so called society. I also want to suggest you that one more thing I observe about Indians that they wake up only when something happens with them by the time they are not bother about anything.if they know something then too they will not take any precautions to fight back.this is tendancy of us.I feel very bad about indian freedom fighters that their sacrifice and love for India will goes waste. I also proud to be Indian because I love my country not because I live in India but I like India from the bottom of my heart because India is really beautiful country i.e it's religion, historical background and differ people. Can someday India will became great country from all over? Thank You
hi, I totally agree about politics, the corruption and the other inefficiencies in india, BUT I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH YOU SAYING THAT WHITE TOURISTS ARE DISCRIMINATED. Listen, firstly, for a local seeing the TAJ MAHAL is part of his country. every local (is expected to pay taxes) etc thus contributing in some way to the country. And in this way he is entitled to a number of things and certain things are made a bit more affordable for him.
As for the tourists, IF YOU GO TO THE US OR JAPAN OR EUROPE why is that the EXCHANGE RATE IS USED? a LOAF OF BREAD IN THE US would cost about $2 for a US resident. but when you go there why does the same bread cost you about 50Rs?? IS THAT NOT UNFAIR THAT HE PAYS 2units of his currency and you pay 50 units of your currency? in short Im trying to point out that there is an exchange standard. I dont mean direct comparison, but a relative way to measure affordability. In most foreign countries, there are separate rates for international students? why is that so?
I agree there are some bad things. But if you travel around the world you would be able to see some form of justice in many cases like the one you mentioned
i agree, claude. cheers! i dunno abt tamil nadu, but things here in bombay r changing 4 d better, n quite fast. i guess d rest of d country will follow. hopefully :D
This is a nice article to read. I guess the writer could have added many more points to it & find that all of them sound pretty plausible. The arcticle also throws light on issues I would generally not think about, like seperate rates for foreigners. This had always struck me with WHY??? but I never bothered to opposed it. Well, almost 60 years have gone by.I hope that one da we can we write a book where there would be no "such" last chapter.
I totally agree with you but every country has its own drawbacks. I wish to tell that the main problem of our country is the irresopnible policiticians. their target is mainly to attract voters. they will not see the problem around after they are elected. There is no minimum qualification for them. they will make rules and theya re the first to break them also.
Apart from some drawbacks, my country people are more generous than any other. I am proud to tell this. we can enjoy the greenary of this country and this is the only country where you will enjoy unity in diversity. Iam proud to be called as an INDIAN.
I agreee with all points but i believe thaz what india is all about...may be thats the way to success for india or may be indian has accepted that as in culture..
And most important is we have accpected all that so you cant complain..Complain karne se phele khud kuch karo...desh nahin badal sakte tho khud ko badloo..
We will think in a postivie approach and can call 10 things to improve india .
Offcourse it's an responsibility of every citizen of India to consider these points and need to improve.
The important points are like Environmental problems because of improper emission control systems . the emission norms should be like euro 4 or ULEV etc. We have a norm for Emission control called Bharat which is not implemented in a proper way, we have make use and implement these norms for all general and public vehicles.
Every one has to care for their surroundings and environment.
I dont agree to most of ur points. As far as tourism is concerned, India has every right to charge it's foreign tourists as we do have a rich heritage to show off, and even these buggers charge heavily in their countries though sometimes it isnt worth at all. Also having lived in France over a yr, I can say that any day India is better. At least the babus try n speak in whatever lil' English they know and make you comfortable and not act arrogantly like the French govt. officials and deny speaking in eng.
hey listen up... its fine to produce 100 lists like this one, for your kind information every country has thr major draw backs b it the great US also...fine even i hate the stupid politics n wat not...bt rahter than jus penning them down n hoping ur fustratraions r released...try in your own way making a diff. to the whole cause. if every1 makes an effort slowly but surely u can see the diff. then again its up2 u...cos i guess its easy to crib than to move ur fat...
