rahul mahajan spent 70000 per day??/shame on political gallery
by neelkanth on Jun 12, 2006 07:00 PM  Permalink

If it is true then its self evident that why our political leaders dont have courage, morality and committment towards millions of people living in extreme poverty.thats why they cant afford our political budgetary system to spent on education , helath, water and other basic requirements of the poors.they are getting their part of lucrative share from MNC and other corporates to fool poor people and make their children spend 50000-60000 per day on club and pubs...shame ...shame...

Rahul's expenses
by Vineet Sharda on Jun 12, 2006 06:56 PM  Permalink

We; common man; feel the pinch of the money. For politicans, industrialists, big business houses; this amount of money is practically nothing. These people have ill-gotten wealth and they are handing it over to their children to spend. I feel its not the mistake of the children but their parents & guardians who never guide them or guard them to make them better citizens.

Big Deal !
by shiv on Jun 12, 2006 06:50 PM  Permalink

Can we believe every word of what Delhi Police is saying??? Perhaps this is the only case through which they can make some dent in public's mind about their already battered image. They have never been known for reacting in time, never shown zeal or seriousness in solving high-profile cases. Delhi Police and CFSL had colluded in Jessica Lal case and we all know what happened thereafter.

Rahul Mahajan - A Rich man
by Indravadan Mistry on Jun 12, 2006 06:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rahul Mahajan spent Rs. 70,000/- in a day. After hearing this news, what actions a common man expect from the Income Tax Department? If a common man is spending for his survival, the income tax department is asking for the details of the expenditures (As per the new Saral form released, now withheld).

Let us have a hope, the income tax department will open its closed eyes kept towards the rich and famous Indians (barring Mr. Amitabh Bachchan)

Shiv, In Jessica's case, the Cops had to cover up a Politician's Son, and here they are exposing a Dead Politician's Son, that too by working for a Rival Party's Govt. Hence, they have nothing to fear & I hope they are right this time!!!

Either way the police is to be blamed,is it? Are you fully aware of Jessica Lal case or going according to the media? Even so you must have heard the comment made by a retired judge that that was enough evidence available in the court to convict the guilty yet they were let off! You also must be aware that the judge who gave the verdict was promoted almost instantly! What do you have to say to all this? How much are you aware of the criminal justice system of this country which is more than 200 hundred years old & is totally procriminal!First try & find out the limitations that the police has & then talk about it.Or is it just that its fashionable to talk against the police that you make such comments?Let me see if you reply to this so that you can get some more clarifications.

I just happned to see this only today.

We all know that 90-95% of politicians are corrupt (from grass root level) and our good hearted approach on this allows us to give 5% as benefit of doubt for some politicians who appear upright till we find out they are also corrupt.
CBI director-Jogindar singh personally was involved in the raids of Sukhram and unearthed over 1.50crores right under the eyes of top IT officials whom he summoned; he went on Shekar Suman's comedy show as guest and narrated how he was dumb struck by the sight of so much money.
sukhram case, like the others that surfaced, lies at the bottom of sea. jogindar singh has taken up writing columns in newspapers. So much respect for CBI and IT dept.
from out of blue Dayanathi Maran has surfaced holding to one of the plumb posts earlier held by Promodh Mahajan; and it is widely speculated that DMK will hold fort at office and business will be divided between maran brothers;
similarly one Dr.Anbumani Ramdoss holds important porfolio without any background and getting directly elected to a coveted post.

These unconscionable beasts in our country !!
by jose xavier on Jun 12, 2006 06:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Yur article on Rahul Mahajan's expenses has left me seething with anger .How did Mr.Mahajan accumulate so much wealth for his son to dissipate in this fashion ? Surely it cannot be any straight forward way .In a country where the middle class are taxed mercilessly it is absolutely inhuman to blow up tax payers money in this fashion .

Have these breed of politicians have to conscience or religion ? Are they so depraved morally that they would blow up drugs in a 500 rupee not which has the picture of the Mahatma on it .

And to top it all the father of this great man belonged to the party of Ram Bhakts .Sure Lord Ram must be hanging his head in shame .

How do you know the Delhi Police is right this time? Aren't you aware of their past conduct and what happened in Jessica Lal case?

You are a moron. India is still a third world nation because people like you are still alive. I think we should award the Death Penalty for both the users and dealers of drugs. That is the only way to solve stuff such as this. Looks like Mahtma Ghandhi succeeded in creating a Nation full of spineless whimps who sympathize with this kind of crap.
