Marriage may be of any type. TIll the girls family members interfere in girls life, life is couple is ditorted. As all girls wants to dominate the husband. so the girls family members also interfere the matter get totally in bad shape
Hi, The title for the article has no relvence with the subject of the article. i dont know why the author gave such a title just based on single line in the novel and discuss nothing about it.

Be it Love marriage or arrange marriage..... nothing is bad ..its all abt how we take life and handle it well.
I got married to a lady 4 years back. At that time i had enough money. Her requirements increased day by day. The monthly expenses mounted to Rs.30k. I thought her expenses was just within once range. She was a US return. We then planned to apply for U.K. citizenship. I have now put in atleast 10 lakhs for the same. Now I do not have any money to survive . All my property is also pouned with the Bank. Every month i pay atleast 20 thousand as interest and some of the principle amount. During the marriage I had gone against the wishes of my parents . As a result i had taken a rental accomidation. Now the position is that as I have no money to pay her for her expenses , she has moved out and staying with her parents. I have been left all alone .
I strongly believe that we should not do LOVE MARRIAGE and NEVER GO AGAINST THE WISHES OF OUR PARENTS.

Mr. Anu Pillai, failure in your marraige is not solely the mistake of your wife, u r equally responsible as from the day one you had paid her lot of money, done everything for her.... spoiled her in every manner without understanding that she is a perfect home-maker or not. I m also fighting with my parents for my love but i have full confidence in him as i had understood all his requirements, day to day working, his friend circle etc. etc.
try to get her back and make remember of the good days and she must have made some promises to you, revive those infront of her. dont be negative.. i m sure something good will happen. all the best. reena

Please do not generalised your experience. I've seen many of my friends who had "love marriage " and are living happily together.
In my 9 years before m & after 6 yeears m I am very happy. In life only you think about your husbands mother and father is my mother and father. when wife thinks this than there is no problem in life. and another is every moment enjoy it. workhard
Your Article says Love marriages means too much adjustment. I am just wondering which relationship does not need Adjustment. Love marriage does not fail in India. Its only the parents who wants to oppose it. Not the couple who will have misunderstanding. With this type of Mindset still in Indian people Mind. I really wonder whether India as a nation will ever improve. Yes for a country development Love marriages are very important coz People who are seperated by Caste, Religion and so many other communites can not improve unless they are united
