Well, the best thing for those seking the middle ground is to shut up. If 90% cannot be considered in counting the opinion of the nation as Mr. Sharad Yadhav pointed out, it is just and right the minority 10% should succumb to the majority will.
On the same token, will these 10% minority whose voice is not to be heard, be given reservation? Why majority 90% seeks reservation is beyond comprehension.
Also, are 90% of Indians pay taxes? Why is it that voice of those who pay taxes (it happens to be only middle class and salaried employees} are not to be heard?
