Another shameful fictious article from rediff anonymous correspondent. Indian people will not allow anyone any privacy nor will they allow someone who stumbles to get up. Folks there is rehabiliation available. Anyway who are the people to judge? He has onyl hurt himself - he has not caused any harm to others.

over and above the named characters in the above episode there are whole lot of others: 1.could any one exist in contraband business without giving a cut to local police. And undoubtedly the loot is shared up to the top...no soon news caught up the police started rounding up so much of contraband. 2. lalu-mulayam or congressies or new-breed of leftists.Do you expect any great vision from any of them..EXCEPT to think of manipulations to win elections-BY divisive politics or managing coalitions to stay in power. IN such a scene most misled are the most affluent or the poorest. Middle class has alwayas been all-tolerent. I wish this incident should provoke an amount of introspection by all responsible citizens
Easy come easy go. Life has come a full circle for one corrupt politician and his family, and in little more than a fraction of time. How does a man in public service have enough money for the lifestyle a wealthy bussinessman would need to think twice for? Is this what our nations leaders family's are like?
isnt every party the same ? every party has so many leaders in more or less the same category. if they paint bjp as the party who's in sinister scheme, the wheel will turn and another day it will be bjp pointing the fingers. lets leave them alone - and let the turth be out. let the public know how the rich and the famous try to cover up things. let the cops be exposed - cos only now they seem to fuinction when there's some crime happening in front of the tv. if they could apprehend someone so easily in less than 24 hrs, what were they doing all the while ? there are too many questions to be answered here. we demand more transparency from all parties concerned.
why can't we take if any of the celebrities or public figure in involved in something unsocial. why has media hyped so much this Rahul's case. There are so many drug addicts around whom no one notices. Why not to discuss about the eradication of the problem of the Drug addiction rather than splashing how Rahul had Drugs What he did before and after. I do feel we have had enough of it and let police handle the situation. It is pity that Media spends quality Time and space in discussing people rather the issues or ideas. Please note we are sick and tired of all this and please stop it. And holy soul R u a God yourself and done no sin. Ask yourself before pointing to others.
The guilty must face the consecquences, whosoever they may.Now that the police is acting correctly let them do their job & let the truth prevail. Rizwana Kashayp
Just because he took cocaine doesnt make him bad...Sympathize with him, for spoiling his life. Money, Power and Boredom with Life does that to you. It happens with a lot of families, except that its all hush hush. This got exposed because somebody died and somebody else was on the verge of death. So, this is the next sensational case, eh? Put the guy in rehab for heavens sake and shut up, Mr. Cynic.
