For all said and done the president is right and he has opposed the bunch of crooks sitting inside the parliament trying to take use this country as their personal property. For once the hard working middle class of India deserves better than these communal, castist,hatred mongering, votebank centred crooks who can think of nothing but reservations and laundering money for themselves I suggest the president declare emergency if these crooks dont change and put all these crooks in jail (and hang them for all those murders and other crimes they have committed), they dont deserve any good . If the Indian politics is ridden of its criminals then the more honest and hardworking individuals will enter politics and the country will see some real growth and prosperity.
President is right. I doubt if the PM & Law Minister would listen to his opinion ? After all they can't say Madam Sonia is wrong? Can Madam Sonia be wrong? May be we better watch out for one more sacrifice drama from her.
And where are the commies in this? Why are they silent ? They often talk of high moral values.. why are not talking much on this? May be their hotline to China is down? Well how will it work with all "great" infrastructure built by them in WBengal over the past 25 odd years...

Well if he can all the decissions ethically etc,then why does not he looks into the crimal part?why is he not taking serious actions against the rapes that are happening now n then? why is he not looking into financial matters? why is still poverty growing insted of reducing? no i dont agree that he is right.We speak about having two kids n then why do politicians have 8-10? why is the rule different for them? I feel the hue and cry seen from all MP's particularly left parties means that chair is the most important item for them in life.Morals/Constitution is all farce.Particularly hearing the comments of Mr Gurudas Gupta(cpi(m)about the bill I feel he never ever dreamt in life to have a seat in parliament or a bunglow alloted to him in delhi being a MP.And now he will make sure at any cost even by bending backwards before congress party to accomodate them and cling on to the chair till death do us apart. .Obviously all these first timers are peeved at the action of an educated level headed president.Our dear speaker feels this is the right of MP's to make /bend /crack our constitution as per their liking.God only can save India from these apportunists nothing else!
I hope we get the same president back. India needs people like him to be a part of the govt and giving it some face. But knowing the congress and the left they will fight tooth and nail to oppose his re election even if Kalam wants it. And with one comment that we have a honest President and a PM. Less leave the PM out of the honest gambit, as I believe if you are a part of the team which cannot be assoicted with honesty then no member of that team can be called honest. For evil to prevail, good men do nothing.
Kalam has shown proper thought by returning the bill. This shows the short sightedness and their eagerness to pass half cooked bill. Those beaurocrats/politicians who are trying to force the bill should think thorugh properly and make the bill which will be fair and justifiable to all. (Not just Sonia Gandhi)
With due respect to the many presidents before Dr Abdul Kalam, I would say, here is a president who has redefined the duties,the image and the power of an Indian President. A successor will have to match him if not better him. I can very proudly call him the first citizen of India.
Well... I beg to differ from the author of this article. I dont, in my wildest dreams, think that this government is concerned about the public in general. Does any one really think that the common man will leave Congress over this issue ? Does the common man really know what is the issue ? The Congress party simply have to bring Sonia Gandhi in front of the Indian public, and they will win the next election. And now to top it we have 50 % reservation. Congress will surely be in power for another 10 years. No, they dont have to worry about some mad scientist !!! KArthik
