Mission has to work
by utkarshpatel on Jul 31, 2006 10:12 AM  Permalink

The workers from South Asia lives in very pathetic state and in worse conditions. They are dumped in places called camps which lack basic human facilities and many a times are very unhygienic to live-in.

It is very pity that our foreign missions wakes up after such incidents happens to report the casualty. Missions has to really work for this people instead of keeping themselves engaged in attending ribbon cutting ceremonies and high social forums as chief guest.

Bahrain Fire
by Deepak Nair on Jul 30, 2006 05:17 PM  Permalink

If one has read the previous reports Indians have repeatedly been dying in "accidental" fire in Bahrain.

The Indian government and Indian citizens should not take such things lying down.

I am of the view that such fires that occur frequently and not accidents as the local authorities in Bahrain would like us to believe.
