Terror
by harishanker on Jan 24, 2009 09:12 PM  Permalink

It is the general feeling in India that crime pays and that the law is an ass. With money one can get away with anything. This is the root cause of terrorism's success in India. With the corrupt politicians, babus, police the task of terrorists becomes easy.

Mumbai Atrocities
by A Khanna on Jul 29, 2006 12:04 PM  Permalink

India's secular image and soft approach to relations with our immediate neighbours is perhaps being mis used by these terrorist outfits.

The Indian Government should seriously consider presenting a very tough stance at all international fora.
A good start will be to give exemplary punishment to all those connected with the bomb blasts in Mumbai. We forget how our colonial rulers dealt with even the smallest misdemeanour severely. By making severe punishment for all acts of terrorism India should signal to all perpetrators that we mean business.
