This retired general is crazy. Whats he doing here. He says, Pakistan Army in 1971 was not fighting for religion, then Hindus were massacred in , then east Pakistan. Also, why Sheela Bhat is lending credibility to a man like this by interviewing him. Those people are no good. There economy, the whole nation runs on one issue, Kashmir. If u give them Kashmir, they will move to Punjab, if u give them Punjab, they will start fighting for Pakistan. If u give a mouse a cookie, he will ask for a Glass of milk. If according to Muhammad Nasir Akhtar Pakistan attacked India (Kargil) to make India talk then India as well should teach Pakistan to forget Kashmir.
Close all soft corners for Pakistan. Seize business channels, borders, and consulate. This definitely is a very small loss on INDIA (social and economic) but big one on Pakistan and every thing is fair in love and war. India needs diplomats and strategies to make Pakistan act the way India wants. If Pakistan wants war with India then let it be take war to their home.

Indian governments have been dumping money for Kashmir. But each and every effort for infrastructure development has been targeted by the terrorists. Tourism, Telecommunications, Railway Stations. They are just not allowing things to improve.
Now we want Pakistan back. Pakistan should be merged back into India to resolve all issues. Peace process should be continued only if Pakistan issue is resolved.

If this ex Pakistan army officer says that Pak army fight for religion (implication every one not muslim is their enemy) then this is an open confession that after partition (INDIA - PAK) all Hindus (in PAK) were forcibly converted to Muslims or murdered (some of them may have moved to other countries). If you start pulling up religious issues from history then there can be no world. Hindus have been targeted Kashmir. Kashmir was a Hindu region and as Hindus religion does not teach to be a fanatic. They (Hindus) have been killed, forcibly converted and the Hindu region has been captured.
Fighting for mother land and religion are totally different. They both (patriotism and religion) have totally different passion, love, faith and belief.
What kind of religion it is that teaches that every one that do not follow it is an enemy and to fight till either the follower dies or the non follower is killed!!!! is this Islam???? then oh world wake up.
If religion is base for an deciding an enemy then for sure there is no existence of human race.
