It is not the question why India is not taken seriously, it is a question why Indians don't take India seriously. The problem rests with the Indian psyche where 'sab chalta hei' is the order of the day. "Insha Allah or Jo Bhagwan ko manzur hei" is an excuse for all ills and accidents and mayhems. What we witness is a waterdown political outlook. Everyone wants "kursi ka kissa" and all principles, norms, ethics can be dumped so long it suits political expediency. India is one country but many nations and it is a tragedy that politicians have made it a football game. I mean American football and not soccer.
Anyone who quotes, repeats or takes the Shahi Imam serously betrays the fact that he is also on the same mind-set and wave length as that lunatic and that he too should not be taken seriously!

Why not take him seriously my friend? are going to tell us that there are no one who will follow him in India?
I do not realise why the author specific to a particular community. I am worried why nothing has been mentioned about the heated speaches of Bal Thakarey, Narendra Modi, Uma bharati, RSS and VHP leaders who are keeps on giving heated speaches against our brother muslims and statements like "pack them to pakistan", "Muslim communities are mini pakistan" and "hum paanch hamare pachees".enough is enough. I do not understand when our muslim brothers who supported by heart during all the wars against pakistan, are now started treating like a second class after Ayodhya. We are all need to stop blaming each other should form a New Great Dream India which should be free of crime,corruption,hate ,free of these authors and communal leaders . Because we are fed up of you people, If you really feel that your religion is best, please practice it, but dont enforce us to do the same. If you are satisfied by a piece of land, we would gladly give you and you stay put there, please dont show us your face. We dont want you, that simple it is....I hope now you get my point. Is this what your Quran and your Islam teaches you, killing innocent people?
a bold and excellent article. its india's and indians' misfortune that their fates r reined by these kinda dogs. i know as we read and write more on this, things r only getting worse, following the no of bomb blasts that have happened in mumbai alone.i really dont know if anyone is listening?
We have had a backboneless government for the past 60 years. Remember, Winston Churchill (and I am not a fan of his) stated that India has been handed over to men of straw. He had a point. The problems that India is facing have all been created by the spineless Gandhi-caps and dhothiwallahs who have ruled the nation.
Only two instances of spine could I cite - the creation of Bangladesh, which Indira Gandhi did in defiance of the US, and the nuclear explosions of Pokharan II by Vajpayee, in defiance of World opinion. Even in these cases, India did not press home the advantage and destroy the Pakistan army, and in the case of Pokharan II had to explode the nuclear devices hidden from US satellites. Why hide and explode the devices? Why not tell the Americans that we are taking this action in our supreme security interests?
Even in the rare cases of defiance, we exhibit cowardice. Our powerless neighbors like Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka also treat us with contempt. In contrast see how they defer to China!
We need a radical change in policy - foreign and domestic. We need gutsy leaders.
I went through the full article by Shahi imam..his speech is really of a traitor...i am really surprised and frustrated that he is allowed to speak this rubbish...
And why the secular media is silent on this..why it is not printing/televising this incident....
I have every right to dream and state; The Mumbai blasts are not planned, they ie the passengers themselves wanted to end their lives in mass and they requested "some GOOD people to help the cause. The GOOD people planted and blasted the train and no action or fuss be taken
